Another fun weekend of racing beckons.
I have one , maybe two tickets for Leopardstown Saturday and one for The Curragh Sunday for any member here.
Anyone interested please PM me by tomorrow night (Friday).
The Godolphin filly looks over priced in Matron Stakes at 20/1 for any ew backer methinks.
Have a few bets at this meeting.
Backed Beckford at 7s for the National Stakes. I think Glustav Klimt is hellish unders and the form of his win on the July course has not worked out. The Elliot beast is crying out for this trip and I unloaded each way earlier in the week. Race will cut up surely.
I'm also against Ballydoyle in the Moyglare and the Matron. I've gone with Qemah in the latter admittedly when I thought Winter was heading for the big race and Alpha Centauri in the former as I think time spent growing into her frame since the Royal meeting will have done her the world of good. I also think the Ballydoyle 2yo filsters are much of a muchness with the 3rd string beating Happily and September in the Debutante.
Also considering backing Cliffs of Moher in the Champion as Success Days participation means he won't be sacrificed like he was at York.
I think The Grey Gatsby will run a big race in the Champion-Weld has booked McDonagh for the ride-remember him for speculative each way multis.
This is a weekend to win money.
I hope so, Luke, and it's also a weekend to enjoy. The weather probably won't be great, the Curragh is far from presentable, there might have been stronger opposition for Churchill, and more overseas challengers generally, but there is no doubt the Irish Champions weekend concept has been a success and we have a weekend to look forward to.
I suspect Churchill's reign on the track is over and that we've seen the best of him. I also think a line to follow betting wise is that one or two other Ryan Moore mounts for AOB which get beaten by stablemates.
I think so yes

Will be interesting to see Rhododendron on her return.
All comers, all grounds, all beaten!
This perfect mix of poetry and destruction.
I can see her needing it before an Autumn campaign, a bit like Found in the Yorkshire Oaks last year. I was toying with taking the 25s about her for the CS at Ascot but I've read they are aiming her at the Breeders Cup (yawn) so an unlikely runner I think.
i have a ticket for Narcotic Nora. (problem with sending messages here).
One other pass available so text/phone me on 087 2590133 to arrange meet up at the races.

Family responsibilities prevent attendance. Enjoy it.
"And still they gazed and still the wonder grew. That one small head could carry all he knew.
And that small head knew that Impaire Et Passe would win the Champion Hurdle."
I don't understand, the courts are on a break at the moment.
I like Qemah as well.
Qemah and the Gosden filly done no favours by their rides.
Winter I can understand but Moor on SJL Shocking ride for a top jockey

Bloody hell, Roger Charlton doesn't send Decorated Knight to Ireland for nothing does he! That's 3/3 now in Ireland, with a win at Meydan, making overall win form record away from England 4/5. He was a knocking each way bet with the benefit of hindsight! I actually backed him the last day when fifth at York but this doesn't surprise me! I wish I'd looked at the race today closer but had a lot on my plate recently and not been too well either. Well done Decorated Knight anyway.
