I'ts always clever money when they win, Slim, and though this one lost, it's quite wrong to think jockey bookings aren't of any import.
Time will tell.

Slim how about making a similar post on here

"The owls are not what they seem"
The thought of having members like The Ante Post King & Slim Chance on here is not worth bearing to thinking about.
quite rich coming from the sad f?*ckwit who displays more ids than Dick Emery....but about 0.1% as funny as his were
Reet, whilst your reasoning was sound i think what Slim is getting at, is that kind of post would be better suited on the "What are you backing Today Thread"
Agree with jft, looks to me like this thread should be for when you have had word from the stable or owners and you are 100% confident...hence why I haven't put any of my guesses up!
The thread is for max bets. If Reet wants to have a max bet because of a jockey booking that's his prerogative. Everyone uses different methods to reach their conclusions. Stable info is often totally useless as well (or deliberately misleading in a few cases).
So I should bail, after 1 loser?
The horse lost because of the trip; neither I nor his jockey could have known that in advance, and I don't recall too many on here pointing it out beforehand, either.
Ryan Moore travels to Donny today, principally to ride 1 horse for his guvnor (2 from 3 this year) and gets down to within 1lb of his minimum to do so.
Though by Pivotal, Duke Of Firenze (3.30) has inherited his propensity for better ground from his dam, Nannina, and can be forgiven 2 below par runs with cut. Pulled too hard, and didn't last home over the extended 6 on the other.
Always highly thought of, he's reported to have come on considerably since last season, and ought to be thrown in of his current mark. W Hill's 8/1 should last all of 5 minutes, once their shops open.
Apologies for that one guys - all the vibes were right, until the market told its own tale.
What a thread.
Sebastian Vettel (7/2) will have the Fastest Lap at China GP today.
