sad indeed
All comers, all grounds, all beaten!
This perfect mix of poetry and destruction.
John Ferguson, currently in fifth position in the British jumps trainers' championship, is to quit training at the end of April to become chief executive and racing manager to a new streamlined Godolphin operation
Aidan Coleman does not like this!!

First thought that occured to me too
Liam Treadwel probably wont like it much either I suppose.

But who will like it are the smaller owners and trainers who have seen their bread-and-butter novice hurdles and chases hoovered up by Bloomfield horses up and down the country from Perth to Newton Abbot.
Hannigan's Lodger, race and broodmare. Not a superstar in rating terms but to her owners/breeders as good as anything, and to me as the dam of my mare and the horse which got me to go and watch jump racing when I had never been before. She will be sorely missed by those that loved her.
Vote Alfie!!!!
1991 Mackeson Gold Cup winner Another Coral has passed away aged 32.
La Estrella, all weather 27 time winner has been retired .
Some achievement for any horse to win so many races though his prize money of 65k a disgrace in this day and age.
May not be to everyone's taste but this is a tribute to all the horses who died during 2015, Le Vent D'Antan gets an early mention, didn't someone on here own or part own this one ?

We had two Novice Chasers in our lines for the 2003 TTF competition - Impek and Azertyioup. We finished jt-26th overall that year; some 40-odd points off first place, and about 15pts out of the prize-money. If we had popped Azerty in that line instead of Impek, we would have scooped the bullion......and we did it with nine active runners, as we had Frenchman's Creek in the same line, and he was declared OFS the day after entries had to be submitted (thank you Hughie Morrison, you bubble-permed Flattie tosspot).
RIP Impek.
