    Barry Connell

Not alone is he spending a small fortune on horses, he has gone and got himself a retained jockey. Danny Mullins
Some people say he’s the best since Arkle and that’s certainly true when you look at what he’s done

Who am I mixing Danny Mullins up with? Or am I? I thought he was thinking of packing his bags for the UK at one stage?

He's riding well at the moment - not like Connells buying...is he the NH version of the Blue Bin?

I think Danny went to Alan King for a while about this time last year.I don't know if he is riding well but a lot of his horses go fairly short in running on Betfair.

Plenty better young jockeys in Ireland IMHO, to paraphrase John Lennon, Mullins isn't even the best jockey in his family

    That's Brian O'Connell.

It would have taken Pegasus himself for Barry Connell to have won a Champion Bumper!

A good winner for him. A good boost for Danny Mullins too.

Mt Benbulben could have a few years racing for decent pots in Ireland if they resist the temptation to try and make him a Cheltenham horse-that was his ninth race of the season.

Right handed could be key for him.

    Won well today.

He had absolutely nothing to beat with Harry Topper and Dedigout falling and Boston Bob being ridden like a cnut.
