Looked at both. Rte didn't have the bumper plus I automatically turn off everything fashion related/ Tom Lee related or generally involving Tracy Piggott

Some people say he’s the best since Arkle and that’s certainly true when you look at what he’s done

At The Races has been very good for Irish racing and they deserve thanks for that.
Couldn't agree more. ATR been fantastic for Irish racing. Let's hope Racing TV can do it justice in 2019.

Yeah I tend to do the same. What you think of Envoi Allen in the end? As impressed as you had hoped you would be?

As green as grass. Big engine but a lot of growing up to do. He'll need at least one and prob 2 outings more or his head will explode in March

The runner up is really well thought of by the Harringtons

Gordon Elliott says Envoi Allen won't be sent (geddit?) for the Cheltenham bumper:

"He's a nice horse but he’s a horse for next year. We’re only minding him this year. He’ll probably have one more run in a bumper and he won’t be going to Cheltenham".

They're not serious about racing, then?

What meetings or tracks are Sky actually going to be covering? What's left that's of any interest with Racing UK (TV) having all the Irish racing and majority of UK stuff?

ATR lose Ireland and Chelmsford but gain Ascot and Chester.

Don't necessarily agree with you-they need a familiar face as lead presenter -someone who could possibly attract non racing people.

Ideally but going from sky football to sky racing would be going down 2 or 3 grades.

I get the feeling that sooner or later most of the other courses will jump ship to Sky, leaving Racing TV covering Ireland.
A role reversal of what we currently have now.

Hope you're'correct, Tiggers - though I'd imagine RTV would fight tooth & nail for some of the gems.

Money talks Reet and they simply can't compete with Sky.

7 out of those 10 are average at best.
