    ML Derby Day. Opening Credit:

Simon Holt reading the WHOLE of Kipling's 'IF'.

    Back to bed already....
"And still they gazed and still the wonder grew. That one small head could carry all he knew.

And that small head knew that Impaire Et Passe would win the Champion Hurdle."

Emma interviewed APOB before Oaks yesterday -didn't waste viewers time by asking him about his 50/1 outsider.

Work has blocked all websites with any gambling undertones, RP, ATR, IR etc

Yet when I clock the direct link of DG above, I can access the RP.

    Anyone know why?

They did the same in my workplace but I successfully appealed it.

I argued that while racing is a sport that people bet on, so are many other sports such as football, tennis, basketball etc etc. I also pointed out that many people follow racing without betting on it, or only having an occasional bet, just as with other sports. So now racing sites are accessible and only the betting sites are blocked.

Across the five afternoons, Channel 4's Royal Ascot coverage secured 2.86 million viewers, less than one per cent down on 2014's 2.91m total. However, the latest numbers continue to represent a loss of around 4m viewers, equivalent to a 58 per cent drop, on the BBC's 2012 total of 6.9m.

Big Mac was to channel 4 what Jeremy Clarkson was to Top Gear. The best entertainment we get now is Tanya Stevenson's hillarious dress sense and how she has excelled at the art of rudeness. Staring at a lap top whilst begrudgingly trying to look interested in Brian Gleeson.: )

I quite enjoyed, even though I did my absolute bollocks, watching all the races on RUK when I got home last week.

Gina is quite cute, but she has that Stepford wife vibe about her.

I think Chapman is hilarious. I can appreciate he is a bit of a bell end but he is far more watchable than any other racing presenter around at the moment and a lot more knowledgeable than people first think. Having said that, I predominantly watch RUK because it has the better tracks and in many ways is a better channel than RUK. That said it is a specialist channel catering for a specific audience and Chapman might be the answer for Joe Public.

C4's biggest problem is Graham Cunningham, he is dull as f@ck. And ever so slightly pompous, with a hint of arrogance thrown in. I can't watch him. Or listen to him drone on.

How do the attendance figures year on year look for RA and racing generally? I have no data to back up my assumption that generally the sport is still in good health in attendance terms and if that were the case, it would be safe to assume that its C4's shite coverage failing to bring in new viewers.
I'm clever enough to ask the questions i'm too stupid to answer

I'll say it again, Chapman is different gravy.
All comers, all grounds, all beaten!

This perfect mix of poetry and destruction.

Cunningham is smarmy, pompous is a good word.

Chapman rarely fails to ask the questions that I'd like answered from guests. Has more time I suppose on ATR but a fair barometer all the same.

Only Chapman could ask Willie Mullins why he didn't have the balls to run UDS in 2014 Champion Hurdle.

GC really savaged that ARC executive there didn't he? Savaged by a dead sheep.

His closest shot at confrontation was to Lay her a £100 bet ............ which she can't lose.
The gay, campish Newcastle bookie interviewed by Tanya has ten times the balls than Cunny.
