ITV seem very keen on using drone footage just like in the rugby World Cup. It doesn’t enhance the sport Imo despite Ed Chamberlain’s enthusiasm

I enjoy aerial footage but more so for replay purposes

It really was a shambles, wasn't it?! Like they could see clearly after 1pm it was happening, but didn't react or adjust! Surely someone senior steps up and makes a call. Every ****** race on split screen. Feel like I didn't even see the John Durkin.

    Split screen is bad

But beyond me then why the split screen are two tiny boxes with loads of navy wallpaper screen idle

Best race of the day was broadcast mute in a matchbox screen.

HRI have a lot to answer for

I didn't see it to see the context but mini-me comes from the Austin Powers films - a dwarf replica of the baddie.

Irish Field today has RTV placing blame on racecourse stewards not allowing races to be delayed to allow full coverage.

That is entirely accurate. Far easier to lay the blame at pesky Rtv’s door instead

What will they blame on the 26th?

It's not RTV's problem but they have far too much content and not enough channels to give the sport the coverage it needs

RTV are having an Irish-only channel on Boxing Day.

They should have a channel for UK racing at £15 per month and a separate one for Irish racing at £10 per month. £20 per month for the pair.
The older I get the better I was.

But not available on Sky TV I assume, only online? At the end of the day, you want to watch the racing on your television. Especially if you've forked out for a big HD TV......

You should be able to get an adapter to suit whatever type of connection you need

Hell of a lot of Ireland won't have strong enough broadband and a generation of people wont understand hdmi terminology

Their streams have not been reliable to date either
