Not really a TV topic but David Chillery has the right idea
Some people say he’s the best since Arkle and that’s certainly true when you look at what he’s done
Leglock Luke interviewed David Chillery at the meeting last year, and he said he'd been sponsoring the race with this name for a few years now.
Anybody interested in car crash TV presenting take a look at Andrew Thornton from Chester on Sky tonight!

My god the camera angle that Sky Racing has at Windsor is absolutely brutal!
Sad news John McCririck has died
Rest in Peace Big Mac

Ah the face of racing for so many

Sad news indeed .
I am in the unusual position this week of being off work and able to watch every minute of ITV broadcast. I am flabbergasted by the hype and hyperbole that pervades every word, image and feature. Not yet a serious dissection of form, prospects race strategy etc. Just totally OTT slow motion shots of Frankel and laudatory profiles of rich owners.

Write an article about it please.
De Paypur needs a lift.
Rishi had clearly been on the sauce though.
All comers, all grounds, all beaten!
This perfect mix of poetry and destruction.
Watching replays of York on RTV. Gosden having a proper go at Matt Chapman's attitude/bollixology and stupid questions from Oli Bell. Well done. Refreshing. Glad he feels comfortable enough with Lydia to unload.
Is there a link HW?

Sorry, guess it will be on again in the morning/or in a hours time. Gosden is talking after Forest of Dean's win.
I have tolerated Chapman for a lot of his career, but his Bruce Buffer impressions doing MC when prizegiving misses the mark so badly.
Wow -just watched it Gosden absolutely rips into Bell & Chapman-I could fee their pain watching it.I would be a big fan of Chapman -in a world of fence sitting gravy trainers he brings something to the party-I can remember one Saturday night being very sick and watching him on Stateside on ATR -I didn't have a bet but it was a night of pure entertainment.
I have similar views to what others have said i.e. tv racing does nothing to aid viewers abilities with form analysis or betting approach. If they did I'd have to pinch myself.
I think Chapman has set his sights on trying to fill the spot left by McCririck, the bombastic approach can grate but at least he can be half way entertaining at times and it's a counter balance from what can be a bit too the jolly hockey sticks , fencing sitting and oft repeated superlatives to make them meaningless.

Chapman upsetting trainers is surely a good thing.
Patrick Mullins was with Nick luck Sunday morning
Didn't get round to watching it yet myself

More lazy punditry from Dave Nevison on Racing TV earlier, discussing his tip who “I have backed”.....but horse had been declared a non runner 3 hours earlier
