    Retirements and Departures 2013

    Imperial Guest, runner-up in last season's Stewards' Cup at Goodwood, was on Wednesday evening put down after fracturing a bone in a hind leg at Kempton.

    Gougane's fall at Huntingdon Friday was fatal unfortunately.

    O'Leary should send him to Mark Pitman. He could look forward to at least two more years of positive bulletins and no runs, before retirement is announced.

    Personally don't think any horse I've seen since could have lived with him that day at Epsom.

    He was awesome that day-I think he gave too much in the summer,enough to stop him winning the Arc.
