Bowe and the Doyle's have that game by the balls
Some people say he’s the best since Arkle and that’s certainly true when you look at what he’s done

He's in a winners of one, not the open. I'm not sure a win therefore would even qualify him for the Foxhunters?

I'm not 100% certain but you're on NRNB anyway.

Punchestown likely to be the aim if they can keep him sound.

A horse called The Last But One has just gone and won two different races at Wadebridge point to point this afternoon.

Think that's Tom Malone's? I see it most days going up to the gallops here. Presume one was a walkover.?

Not from what I can gather. Won with two different jockeys, Jo Supple and Will Biddick, and one race straight after the other.

I think the Ladies Open was definitely a walkover as there were no odds and horses aren't allowed to run in two races in a day pointing anyway unless one is a walkover.

Didn't run outsider. Enda Bolger ran his other entrant Saint Benedict for Timmy Hyde with his grandson and namesake in the saddle. Fell four out when holding every chance.

Ground will be quick at Badbury Rings tomorrow. I'll have a look at entries later. I would have gone but off to try a horse out for someone. I'm going to the Wilton at Millbourne St Andrew in March if you're going then?

We’re doubtful for that one unfortunately but looking forward to reading your thoughts later

Ok had a quick look through them. As I said before it will be quick ground there and it's very much a horses for courses track so previous good form there should be noted.
    First race
Imogens Thunder won really nicely at Chipley under Will Biddick and will be probable fav. However I noticed he rode Act of Synergy at same meeting for one of his more regular yards and he gave it a VERY quiet ride!!! Their horses always need a run so it will be interesting to see what he rides! Of the others, Flights would be worth a look (trainer Sally Alner loves the course) and Hunt Politics probably ran better than form last time and from top yard.
    Race Two
Caid do Berlais cannot be opposed if turning up. Jack Snipe was with Tom George I think and won well last time. Tom Barton has excellent track for.
    Race three
Nervous Riders race!!! Back the jockey! Therefore either Apples Queen or Northgeorge. Gingilli with decent trainer.
    Race four
Golden Hoof deserves to be fav. I know Moscow Prices was strongly fancied at Larkhill but I thought he looked in need of the run!
    Race five
    Raging Fire is nice
    Race six
Between Hon the DJ and A Tipple or Two

Go and talk nicely to my bookie, Mike Smith (has a big sign saying "Let's Hunton") above his board. Tell him you are a friend of mine (Kirsty not Jinny!!) and he should give you good prices. I will text him. And have a great day!!

In the absence of the Guru, Martin (I think he may be in Czech)

I think the Tom Malone horse in that race should win but I see its been backed. Trained by Malone and ridden by Will Biddick ought to be enough. The second Hunter Chase is more of a poser. On my Pointing Forum (Jumping for Fun - worth joining for Hunter Chase info) they throw doubts on both the first two in the market, Asangy & Brave Jaq. I was at Larkhill when Luke Harvey's Drumlynn won and was seriously impressed. It could have gone round again. I then heard rumours it had been lame since that run and it then turned up at Chipley Park where it ran no race and was pulled up. However Chipley can get tacky and some horses hate it there. Might be worth having a look at him especially as Darren Edwards is more than capable. I also see that Tom O'Brien has been subbed for Brave Jaq this morning which is interesting.
