Am not as keen on this race now as Love Your Work non runner,thought that was the obvious one in the race..but gets no pressure on the front..

Brunch 16/1 generally 18/1 unibet


Brunch is a little exposed now fifteen runs a 5yr old this season,highest winning hadicap mark was off just 91 but very consistent and did win a listed race at Ponte last season beating Rhoscolyn rated 104 and Arzano rated 102 fairy easily..Made its debit off 100 last season in the Lincoln finishing second in a decent time to Haqeeqy now rated 109 gave that one 7 pound,a decent second at York off 101 in big handicap had run ok previous run to that at Ascot in the Heritage handicap was only 7th beaten 8 1/2ls but never got a clear run in that race and Real World won by 4 1/2ls..Ran a couple of poorer runs after that at York in a group 3 goig off to quick and the soft ground at Sandown in a listed race..
the first five or six heading the betting in the Lincoln you would think at least one or two will improve as all lightly raced,but Brunch likes the c/d,runs well after a break and he looks guaranteed to run as there are bound to be a few above him in the betting that won;t..Wouldn't surprose me if by the day of the race he's nearer 10/1 maybe even shorter.
Will probably back something else yet but as this looks almost certain to run then probably best to back it now...

Eagles Rock has never run a bad race over c/d and has been unlucky a couple of times in running,shouldv'e won last time out creeping up the weights but a bit more luck should be involved,Abnaa has a decent turn around in the weights with it from the 13th of January,there looks little between them and Balqaa looks open to loads of improvement after winning over c/d when the track was really slow..Maybe worth doing these in forecasts as looks nothing between them..
Far From A Ruby hardly looks a winner waiting to happen,has changed stables twice since 30th September,was only with David Loughnane for two races ran ok on penultimate run when 4th of 10 in a 0-70 at Wolves,now with Katie Scott for first run after a poor run last time out for David Loughnane,has the under used Jonny Peate riding,not sure what's going on with this jock he was riding at 17% and is not getting any rides..I suspect he's having his claim saved for the rest of the season as he's barely getting a ride every couple of days,very strange and he doesn't seem to be getting on anything that's fancied rags like this..Far From A Ruby hasn't run in a class 6 since winning in September off 58 also won its other aw class 6 race previous to that..doesn't look like a winner waiting to happen but if it ran to its best although i suspect it still wouldn't be good enough,this race is very good for the grade it still wouldn't be these prices..So a speculatuve bet on this..

I know How has been in terrible form but came back to form at Swell in a better race than this a 0-70 over 7fs had quite a few recent winners behind it and infront of it,it also had first time headgear as well,3rd beaten 2 1/4ls and the time looked quite good on what evidence there is so far at the track...It was off its lowest mark since December 2019,now off 60 has been last in nearly all of its last six runs,it was just over 12 months ago it won over this c/d over 6fs off 66 in a 0-70,this is a 0-60 so if repeated the run then obvious ew chances dropping in class..It might be that the surface at Swell it prefers,so worth putting in notebook if flops here and goes back there.
Katheefa another that's shown nothing since winning off 73 March 2021 been on diwngrade si much so has never run in a 0-60 before infact has never even run in a 0-65 befire or a class 6,has show absolutely nothing,infact finished alomg way behind I know How at swell in that 7f race,just going to have a token bet as they've decided to chuck the blinkers on for only second ever time..Betting will be interesting in this grade,has been going off big prices recently if they expect the blinkers to help there might be a bit of a gamble.

An annoying last leg,wasn't bothered of fav won as was in with other favs,but soaring star not placing has cost me fortunes,still some nice bets landed loys of 5 places and 63s to come and heinzes..wouldv'e made a huge difference of that last one had placed at swell drift said it all though..Got all the favs placed sio stakes back on that ew yankee...but have these ew 63s as well best one is this soaring heights not placing gutted..Tanasaoq could still make a big difference as well,although i couldn't touch it,looka a fase fav to me now just hope it can hit the frame,but the n/r has given me another touch as well in the same race...for more heizes..

Just one win for Sarvan in a Pontefract maiden in 2020,given a mark of 92 after that win and did nothing for the rest of 2020 then had wind surgery,came back in 2021 after five month break in February 2021 at Wolves over 1m 1 1/2 3rd in a 0-100 off 85 claimer took another three off as well..Returned to the turf ran some decent races 4th of 16 in a 0-90 at Donny 4th in a 0-105 at Epsom 2nd in a 0-90 at Windsor,then swiched to the aw 2nd in a 0-85 over saturdays c/d time was respectable,those last two runs had been in first time pieces,ran five more times after that different headgear tp,tb its form regressed compared to early season form and no real reason why..It did run over this c/d again,looked a bit unenthusiastic eventually beaten 7 1/2ls 6th of 12,race was run in a very good time 2m0.91,was stying on reasonably well at the finish but followed u wth another two poor runs..The last run at Lingfield was off 86,now off just 77 and drops into a 0-75,November ran in a hurdles race just didn't stay was cantering with a hurdle to go and blew up to be well beaten,it returns with no headgear at all and will be a five month break,similar to last seasons with the 3rd in the 0-100..If it could run to anywhere near its best form then would look a massive price in this grade,but has regressed in those last end of season runs,no headgear on saturday either,betting will be interesting if they have it right it can't go off these prices,it will obviously tell the story..
Sea of Charm looks the obvious one was only beaten 6ls in a listed race over c/d,as is typical with so much aw racing over these trips it ran i a 0-65 last time out and got beat,so many of these races run over further than a ile the best speedfigure horses are the horses coming off the pace,that's why you see so many of them getting beat at short prices..A couple of front runners in here,it's also the same for Sarvan i suspect if they go slow then they won't run to their best..

Bavardages an exposed 5yr old sees to be stuck in the mid 60s,hasn't win since August 2020 and even though has run some respectable races never seems to follow up a good run with another..the horse has never won on turf but 3/14 on the aw and 3 places.Has run twice on this new Southwell surface a 5th and 6th over 7fs and the mile,last time out was over the 7fs here one paced at the end looking like needing a little further..He finisished just infront of Al Suil Eile i put up last time out and it won,the division the pair were in was a lot faster than the one won by tomorrows favourite Back From Dubai around 1.12 seconds..I wouldn't put too much faith in the horse but has a decent draw and gets first time visor and worth a small ew bet..

Nice to see the times working put as well,perfect..Better than last saturdays little beauty Sarvan at 11/1 Depressing the aw season not having fibresand,but still had some monster touches especially on multiples this season..
