Who cares about style when the winners keep coming?

I had a reverse exacta on the two mentions in the Silver Cup. The dividend was £104.10. What's to complain about?

For me the kaboom is neither here nor there. The main frustration is the website in as much as if someone edits their post and say adds another pick then even if you have subscribed to the thread there is no way of knowing unless you have logged on. You might say well you should log on day and night but for some that is not possible. So if another pick is added and you don't know about it until you see the kaboom, then that's when folk get miffed. Nobody likes to miss a winning pick.

A way round it would be for the poster to reply to the post saying it has been edited. That way people who are subscribed to the thread will get the email nod.

^^^ I struggled with this until I became aware of the "Last edited" info at the bottom left of the posts (which helped)

See what you are referring to. But the problem is getting notified of an edit without logging on.

Example -at the bottom @ 2.51 the post was edited, I assume the info was an update about the prices of the 5.55 race

Some ew multiples books not giving much away again, one or two might drift out to better prices i appear to have picked either trainers out of form or jocks that have hardly rode any winners elisha whittington on red stripes and r.walsh only 7 wins from 286 rides, would keep the stakes very small with these picks..

    Chelmsford 4.0

    La fortuna 7/4 365/sportsbook/ppower

    Ayr 2.40

    Al Qahwa 9/1 ppower/sportsbook

    Wolves 5.10

    Red stripes 6/1 365 13/2 sportsbook/ppower/skybet

    5.40

    Furni factors 11/2 hills 5/1 365/sportsbook/ppower / Llamrei 8/1 365/victor

    Catterick 5.55

    Chickenfortea 4/1 365 9/2 skybet 5/1 ppower/sportsbook / Zebulon 9/1 ppower/sportsbook 8/1 skybet/365
Nearly all books going 5/1 now and Zebulon most books going 8/1.

This forum is hilariously eccentric, it really is. We have one fantastic, albeit egotistic central tipster, a handful of established characters who prefer National Hunt racing,, a handful of punters who want to tip outsiders all the time like me, and would post up a seagull in a bloody pigeon conditionals race, 6000 lurkers, one Diamond Geezer,11 cunts and three females who I might be meeting soon!

I’m not aware of a meet up, so where do I fall in that list?

lot of the media are saying that theres a good crop of 2yo's this year with godolphin and coolmore linking up now, using galileo and dubai stallions, the breeding side of racing is getting more interesting every year, keeping track of all thats going on will demand an intense focus

And yet still better than all your winning tips put together.
Have a few days off seeing as pretty much every one of your posts have been having a go at either Slim or Gigolo.

Regarding the edits, I could possibly write a custom script to send notifications, however, sometimes posts are edited 5 or 6 times (usually for spelling mistakes) and I get complaints about the amount of subscription emails people get as it is (tip, if you don't want emails, don't subscribe to the thread ), so I can't really do that.

Maybe Gigs could do as suggested above and pop a new post in the thread if he does an edit that adds or changes the selections so people don't miss out? Would you be able to do that Andy do you think?

I wondered too but given the choices listed I thought it wise not to ask

I can post the added horses don't mind doing that if there's a write up,most of the time its prices i think everyone needs to check on them regularly following day as there can be a lot of changes especially early can drift to a bit more value then shorten up again thats what most of the edits are or more books.
