12/1 hills 11/1 skybet Hors de combat..

Not as good as he was but poor race, nice bit of profit on the race should've done the fcasts as nothing else could win on form..

Love island looks on downgrade hasn't won since may 2014 so picking her to win again is probably a bit optimistic but at least now gets a couple of drops in grade hasn't run in this grade since july 2013 and runs off just 85 tiomorrow, last nine runs have all been with headgear tomorrow taken off.She ran ok when beaten in 9th of 18 to see the sun on seasonal debut at York, hasn't come on for that run but now another 6 pound lower anything near that form or last seasons then 20/1 would be a big price, obviously a speculative bet but interesting in this garde.Quite a few in here well handicapped highland acclaim deswrt ace explain won a better race than this at thirsk they all have chances but will stick with a token bet on love island..

    Love island 20/1 365/hills/totesport/betfred

Whozthecat looks one to be following now a dropping to a mark of 70 although appears to be running over the wrong trip hasn't won over 5fs since 2013 infarct has very little form over 5fs in 4 seasons as has hardly run over it,they gave him a run over this c/d recently and was staying on 5th beaten 2 1/2ls that was a race for horses rated upto 85 so drops in class. He is also drawn out in the car park in 13 but as 16/1 he's worth a token bet on ground that should suit, won last august off 75 and then 76 in the september one I will be following closely in next few months looks like he's just been set up for a 6f race but don't want to be missing him at this price..

I don't really like putting up bets when there's 5/6 meetings as I have maybe 20 picks put 6/7 on here they all lose and can quite easily do that for a few days, don't like to think anyone would have lost on lots of picks that's why I try and play some of the picks down keep to small stakes as there's so many bets,i'm not going to put up 20 bets either even though its the way to bet as I've done all the form wouldn't like to see anyone having backed 20 losers. So its always going to be hit and miss with only half the picks I've got, just keeo staking small is the way and hope I put the right ones up ,not unless there is really something outstanding..

    5.15 Thirsk

There are three horses that standout in this race penny royale, taverner and storm lightening they all are well handicapped like the ground and this is a far easier race than they have run in previously on this sort of going, penny royal being the most obvious. At the prices will just have a token bet on storm lightening, shown nothing last 8 runs and has gone off big prices, so the horse might've had problems although 6fs soft ground and some of its highest ever marks you could put a line through quite a few of them it would be hard to excuse them all.
Bit of a brighton specialist, mark brisbourne decides to go to thirsk he's having a poor season, has got becky brisbourne riding in this apprentice hand's n' heels race she has rode it before finishing 3rd and 5th so does know the horse, horse is on lowest ever mark now,has never run in this class before and is on a mark of just 65.The last time the horse ran over 5fs on decent ground won at chester off 75,although most of his form is at brighton has run well at Nottingham on straight 5fs,stable aren't really gambling stable but with becky brisbourne riding and travelling to thirsk it should be backed if anything near to being in form at these prices.Betting should be informative..Any rain would be a big negative..

    Storm lightening 16/1 skybet/totesport/betfred/lads/corals/hills 33/1 sportsbook

    2.55 Ascot

Open looking handicap not too many unexposed ones, noble silk 7yr old doesn't run that often but usually runs well at ascot and on gd/fm ground, was 6th on seasonal debut this race is probably stronger but this 2 mile should suit more think that's the biggest positive as long as ground is quick maybe against a few of the others. Is stuck on this mark of 91 Josephine Gordon takes off 3,probably better chances of place than win although ground and course form wouldn't be major surprise if ran well.Again if rain arrives that would be totally against shape of race and prices.

    Noble silk 10/1 365

    5.40 Newmarket

Red teas 3rd to blackout looks decent form, that race has worked out really well the winner blackout, 2nd generalship,4th shadow game,5th Izmir and 6th kitaaby, all bar Izmir have won at least once and are rated 90,85,75,78 and kitaaby will be rated in the 80s.Red teas been beaten since on softer ground, the price is skinny but will hopefully at least hit the frame.Have had a little bet on Normandy knight as well, looks thoroughly exposed but best ever run recently when winning off 71 at Leicester that run looks totally out of line with all previous form reverted back to similar form last two runs the 14s though would seem a big price on the leicester run.

Red tea 7/2 365 Normandy knight 14/1 lads

KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKAAABBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM !!!Form doesn't get better than that sluices up!!

    6.40 Newmarket

This looks a weak handicap looking at times of previous runs even by the front two in the betting, although they look the ones to concentrate on might be worth having a very small bet on zamjar forms not as good yet as fav hasn't done anything special on the clock but looks a two horse race. The time at Epsom was slower than the class 4 older handicap by .40 which doesn't suggest 85 is generous but the others don't look very good so in a match hopefully will at least give fav a race..

    Zamjar 10/30 victor/ppower

    7.10 Newmarket

Might be worth having a speculative bet on hilltop ranger just based on debut run and after two poor runs gets in in handicap off 69,on debut 2ls 4th at goodwood to the more experienced showing off now rated 79,the 2nd destroyers now rated 81 the 3rd torch rated 81 recent 3rd to dubais secret the 5th mr Andros is rated 72 and the 6th phoenix beat and seventh ejayteekay rated 69 and 77 even the 8th Langham has placed off 68 since as well.Potentially a well handicapped horse off 69,but last two runs have looked poor,it maybe a track like goodwood will be where he returns but at prices worth a little to find out and will be keeping for notebook..

    Hilltop ranger 18/1 cortals/victor

    7.20 Chepstow

Stormbound and wordismybond are rejuvenated and may well dominate this race on recent gd/fm ground form but one other interesting runner in the race plausabella 5yr old 15 runs 2/13 on the turf looks exposed off 61.The run over this c/d when 2nd to ladybayside was ok when trying to make all alone on farside but that was on soft ground, two wins have come on gd/fm ground highest off 51,but going back to a run over this c/d last july 2015 when runner up to peak storm suggest this track on gd/fm ground there may yet be more races to be won.The time of that race that day was also very good even though best race he's ever contested,he maynot be good enough to beat the two favs but he's worth a small bet to find out, there should be more races to be won and the trainer should be bringing him back to this track as it looks to suit..

    Plausabella 6/1 victor/365

    6.30 York

Whozthecat runs in a better race than the one I put him up recently, but showed that running on 6th at Beverley to becoming into form,he won two better races than this last season off 75 then 76,tomorrow probably won't be his day but at 25/1 worth a token bet.Mon brav stands out a mile from handicapping perspective and miss rally if grounds not too quick might be worth a saver was cantering in the Donny race even though finishing last, her losing run looks like coming to an end soon her prices at 14s look big as long as grounds not genuine gd/fm.Any rain would be in her favour while would be the opposite for whozthecat although good ground would be ok for both..

    Whozthecat 25/1 365/lads/boyles

Grounds showing 7.9 on going stick presuming that's accurate with forecast looking decent at Donny then there might be some quicker ground and again might be worth giving the other veteran Hawkeyeyhenoo a chance,is still running some decent races needs fast ground and 7fs and rarely gets it last time he got both was 3rd in Victoria cup last season off 95 tomorrow off just 83.He was a decent ataying on 7th to see the sun over 6fs at York and if ground does quicken up tomorrow the 20/1 would look a big price with stable in form and getting most runners to run well..

    Ascot 5.0

Hawkeyethenoo dropped another 3 pound to 80 after given an easy race last time out at dony,in lady amateur riders race tomorrow back on fast ground same track as Victoria cup
best chance he's had in a long time as long as the ground stays as it is and will be surprisede if not a gamble in what looks a relatively weak race.Hopefully they will go fasr to quick and he will be finishing through them the currently 14/1 could easily go off half those odds on thuis race!!!

ew Trixie hopefully all hit frame at worst and make a small profit or stake back..

    5.50 Windsor

Grey galleon ran in a decent maisden at Windsor blowing the start and hanging all over the track eventually beaten 4ls,wouldn't trust implicitly on that run but could be a nice handicapper as looks to have loads of ability frame chances at worst..

    Grey galleon 4/1 365

    6.25

Mr pocket ran in that same race as grey galleon the time was very good for debut run and the form with winner kyllang rock looks decent, kyllang rock 4th to ardad on debut just behind recent winner maakaasib mr pocket steps up in trip not much value in price with hugo palmer and hannon runner in there, just the course form and ground will be interesting to see if he improves muxch for debut..

    Mr pocket 5/4 365

    Beverley Tuesday 2.10

Aneedh was disappointing last time out at Beverley, previous record there was 2nd and 1st over c/d on decent ground has gradually dropped in weights into a very poor race although having to forgive last time out run might just be a slightly bigger price after that poor run..

This looked a poor race to me at least formwise but the winning time says not and comparatively on the card seems exceptional infact so much so if you look at the corresponding meeting and the same race for the last 8 years streets infront of the other runnings of this race and this is backed up by all the races run on the straight track. It all looks very strange as something like that is virtually unheard of the time comparisons compared to all other races on the card there's a huge differential compare to other years, but that would mean the 2nd 3rd etc looking at the times have also done the same.I can't explain it,the only logical answer would be that large numbers of races are not being run at a true pace but that would've been over the last 7/8 years which is an impossibility, the fact she won so easily as well although i'm not yet totally convinced it's something to be looking at carefully when she runs in future.
