I see the forum shrewdie-poster Outsider has tipped Blue De Vega in the first.
I remember mentioning that horse last season. He's a positive in the betting. He could definitely win on a going day. He must be on a low mark now I'd have thought. I wrote down King Robert as the one to back each way. Both could outrun the odds.

I'm loaded with cold. Hope you're well.
Blue de Vega is last chance saloon tomorrow.actually got 33/1 earlier in week.needed to win at Windsor in the week to get in the main one and didnt perform again.but it's interesting to see young fallon on again.
I dont want to be nasty marb, but I hope Desert skyline dont win as I've put it up for the ebor at a massive price 40s or 50s and he doesnt want a penalty.
This year its £600,000 for the winner in the ebor.

    Fair enough. See what happens.

I am mentioning one more tomorrow.

Chelmsford 2:10 Queen Of Burgundy. Potentailly very well handicapped and still unexposed. May take advantage of it here. 8/1 early show.

Cheers for the picks, not doing too bad Martin, Vividly the other day more or less paid for the festival (but squandered elsewhere ....)

Outsiders a weighing machine over the long haul, some gems lately, wish I could just stick to those bets on their own. Unfortunately I'm a saturday afternoon and big handicap festival junkie . Just cant do a watching brief, gotta get involved.

Stewards warm up , couldn't let Dark Shot go, the time I dont back him etc.... Count Otto while am at it and a bit of insurance with Puds - it's a 7 place race on SB.

King Robert too much of a drifter, have jumped ship now. Venturous for me now.

4/1 fav goes in in the Stewards...

Well done to backers even my family members were on it.

Such a short price for the calibre of the race it was though.

    7:05 Lingfield - Contingency Fee 10/1 Win

Brian Meehan used to train this one. He's shown a clear preference for a left handed track, now just four pound higher in the weights than when winning at Wolverhampton in April, which was his third win in a row. He was on 66 but the handicapper has done the honours by dropping him one pound. Low mileage on the clock so can put his recent two or three runs well behind him. I fancy he'll return to best form tonight and that will suffice here.

The 6/4 favourite Luke Morris rides in the 7:35 looks a good thing, but that goes without saying!

Nice win, would be dangerous to underestimate next time out too.

Kempton 4:45 Point In Time. Win 4/1 (Bet 365) NAP

A 20% win strike rate in racing career, including two all weather wins with one over this course.
Excellent return to form last time and must be backed at these odds to beat the favourite. Money well invested!!!

A 4/1 winner a day is enough to keep the doctor away.

Little patent or trixie about to place on Ben Curtis in next three races at Ripon.

Rode an 11/2 winner earlier and could finish this evening with a few more winners.

    Lost my £7
See what's he on tomorrow, might give him one more chance to ride two or three winners, need to see the odds.

I predicted Oisin Murphy would have a good day once; he just turned professional and was at Andrew Baldings I think he rode four or five winners at Ayr but missed them somehow...

Come on Ben Curtis, you can do it.

I think NONIOS 340B 9/2 must have a decent chance tomorrow.finished 3rd to Mandarin and Hats off to Larry who won next time I think and 4th was Rotherwick who was unlucky at goodwood last week.

John Oxx and Newtown Anner Stud have a good chance tomorrow night in the shape of Darkened (3/1 early SP) at Gowran Park. I reckon he should be favourite so 3/1 rates a fair price. This could be easy money.

Jockey Niall McCullagh also rides Mountain Fox in the following race who is 10/1 early show, he's never won a flat race but placed three times in last four starts this season and looks ready to land his first victory at a track he knows well.

I might lock up a little win double.

Ben Curtis rides four fair horses in the handicaps at Beverely, (3:30 Gossip Column, 4:00 Go Fox, 4:30 Vindolanda, 5:05 Montalvan).

I'll stick everything in a Heinz for good measure.

Kick On (3.50S) was always thought a gp1 performer by connections but has disappointed lately.
It looks like JG has decided he's not lasting home and there's support for this view in his recent form and both sides of his pedigree.
B365's 10/1 looks too good to miss, on the chance he's correct.

    Good luck mate.

Do we know what likely ground conditions are at Newbury on Saturday?

I've missed the 14/1 on Meade's Technician in the Geoffrey Freer. He's top price 7's now with Bet Fred. If it's soft he'll win.
