Bacardys is a mess over a fence, you're very brave to put your money down on him.
Samovar (1.45S) has a great record over this C/D, and ran the race of his life latest, when close up in a much better field than today's.
Taken 4's but plenty of 7/2 still available.
Close one there Reet - tried Kingscote again on the back of it in the next but same story , uncanny !
Trip out to Haydock tomorrow affy, just fancy a blowout in the fresh air, getting an arse like Beyonce with festive overeating n drinking n lazing about - had a quick look only really half fancy one 2.00 Another Venture 13/2 - mainly based on stable form.
Any decent shouts for the card lads n lasses ?

It looks like trainer Keith Dalgliesh has some excellent chances both at Lingfield and Haydock tomorrow, with his three strongest possibilities on odds at Lingfield. Admittedly a lazy way of doing things, but I can't bring myself to look at any more form ATM, so will stick his horses in a win Heinz, hoping for a red letter day.

That's racing for us ! Decent punt but not even a place - too early for you Martin, New Years day specialist !

See what the New Year brings our way.
I reckon there's a bet today that serious punters might be interested in. I'm not necessarily talking about anyone on the forum although I know there are some big hitters here.
But in the Relkeel, Sky Bet are going three places and their odds aren't particularly cramped.
Ever since Wholestone was put up to 161 for running second to Agrapart in a modest heavy ground renewal of the Cleeve last January I’ve wanted to oppose him. He’s one from five since then and I’m keen to oppose him again at short odds here. You can set your watch by Old Guard these days but he looks outclassed along with anything else bar Clyne and Thomas Campbell and with Wholestone [in my book] opposable both can be backed to three places despite the small field at 11/2 and 7/1. Dutched, they’re roughly a 5/2 shot and that strikes me as miles better value than 11/8 Wholestone.
But bear in mind that anything I suggest these days comes with a serious wealth warning.

Illegitimi non carborundum
I'd quite like Old Guard Des back on faster going and wouldn't by any means think he's outclassed by your pair . Think I'd agree that Wholestone is vunerable on a quicker surface if the ground had been soft today I'd have thought him banker material.

Man who catch fly with chopstick .... accomplish anything.
Global Melody (1.10S) has had just 2 runs at Southwell, the latest a win over 5f. What's more remarkable though was his first run at the track (1m), where he led most of the way, and ran the first 6f in just 2 secs (ATR sectionals ) over RP standard time. Well drawn again today, I've had a meaty punt on him.
If there is a danger, it's probably Jack The Truth, from the stall next to him.

Well be glad I haven't had time to do my write ups today because I've completely done my spuds at Cheltenham. I have a decent bet on Old Guard in the last and a decent RF with Midnight Shadow so between us Des Wholestone and Cyrius should do the 1-2 haha.

Island Of Life (2.50W) won her latest race a piece easier than a bare reading of the form suggests, and I reckon she's better than a handicapper. Her trainer seems to think so too, as he'll be blowing a good mark to qualfy her for the AW finals.
On breeding, the step up in trip should certainly be a bonus. 7/2 taken.
Newcastle 7:15
STAR CRACKER's record on turf is a mere 3/45. However he is actually 2/13 on the all weather, meaning that he is approximately twice as prolific on all weather surfaces. Star Cracker has only been racing on the all weather from December 2017, just over a year, which isn't a lot of time, (in racing terms). The fact he races off an identical mark to his turf rating of 51, when he clearly isn't as good on turf, may mean there are more races to be won with Star Cracker on the all weather. He won here at Newcastle four starts ago on a mark of 49, then went up three pound to 52. He's been dropped a pound to 51, so warrants a bet at 8/1 or thereabouts.
