    Southwell 3.30 Triple Eight.

I think this is worth a pop now it's hit 20.0. Possible trip concern but looks to have a reasonable chance of handling the surface and trainer does provide the jockey with winners.

It could be a tester today but take the chance at the price.

I've also put a saver on Dynastic.

Sire is starting look a pure Southwell specialist.

Dreadful ride from Harley on Solar Deity there. Pocket talk I know but they gave the race to Kirby on a plate there.

Just got back from the pub and looked at the comments which make it look unlucky, but the time looks dreadful for the class.

I'm hoping EC can fill us in.

    wolver 9.20 Penbryn. Win @ 8.6

PB had engagements after it's last win to run without a penalty, so I was slightly baffled he never took the opportunity. Either the horse wasn't right or connections felt he could win off new mark and worth taking the risk at the current price.

Very little to go on form around 6f form so still could improve even at 6yo.

    Wouldn't judge him to harshly.
Always likely to be held up, over a furlong further than he's raced before, but the cards didn't fall his way tonight, and the winner nicked it.

Looks to be quite well in off 127,Is very highly thought of within the yard and a 1 length 2nd to Kings Palace at Fontwell in October and a win at Chepstow over Morning Comission and Doing Fine which reads like excellent form today. 5/2 Availabe this morning.

Aye, great start ( to a potential double).
    Pleasantly surprising SP, too.

Well done Rob with Off the Ground and Fonz with Kaki de la Pree - top tipping!!
Pluralism of Ideas and the prosperity of any land are intertwined. Freedom of minds and skill of intellect to 'think the unthinkable' is how humanity has progressed; when minds are incarcerated nothing endures.

    2.30 Southwell Hannah's Turn

recorded a speed figure of 85 on my calcs last time she ran here..runs off 75 here... does drop back to 5f..has won over that trip here and on her last run here would win a 4f race

Spitfire who finished 2nd then has also won since in a fast time and everything points to Hannahs being a genuine 80 plusser at Southwell.

The Wolverhampton run was never an issue and has made her a better price here as would have been odds on here without that

    I GOT POWER 3.10 CATTERICK

Keith Reveley has targeted this Catterick meeting for the last three years as a means to get his Christmas expenses. He has saddled 21 runners with 8 winning. However, that improves dramatically at singles figure odds to 7-10 returning the following figures; 161131112.

He has two runners today, Whichwaytobougie who was green as grass on his debut in a bumper last month and is probably going to go off at double figure odds.

I Got Power runs in the bumper, a race that Reveley won in 2011 and saddled the second last year. I Got Power was second to Secrete Stream in a Kelso bumper in April who run with credit on his hurdling debut and it looks like I Got Power is the one for Reveley today with James Reveley riding.

Mick Appleby and Andrew Mullen are worth following when they team up at Southwell between November and March, 10-32. However, that improves when the horse in is class 5 or 6 and is in the first four of the betting to 10-22. Their record this season so far reads; 41128131. They team up with Arabian Flight in the 12.30 and Ivy Port in the 1.00.
