So Peslier put up 2 pounds overweight it seems. How much of a difference that would have made I'm not sure. What a numpty.

Shumoos must be the bet of the meeting now!! Still some 13/8 available .. all in I'd reckon.

I'm having 2 bets today neither one do I expect to collect on.

Simpsom Millar - small e/way because I have to back my own horse.

Sri Pekan - Have backed this at massive odds and laid it off in running at 20's - This horse by Oasis Dream will love this trip and track and I can see him looking threatening at some stage before being beaten.

    Two bets:

    Ascot 17.35 Winter's Night 11/2

As previously highlighted by Gamla Stan. I also think this filly has a super chance and trainer is confident.

Hamilton 2.20 Joshua The First 7/2
Maiden he ran in first time up, ran 3 of 4. The two that finished ahead of him, Frederick Engels and Bapak Chinta, are very smart. Fred Engels has already won at Royal meeting (possibly turned out again in Norfolk tomorrow) and BC has a decent chance tomorrow in the same race. Stable in form and decent jockey up, I really fancy this fella to do the biz today.

Just wanting to put up my few & this place looks harmless enough.
1430 Pymans Theory ..... 9th not too good.
1505 Make My Heart Sing ..... 10th not good esp for AOB.
    1545 Kasbah Bliss ..... 7th & still leaking funds
    1625 Belgian Bill ..... 4th hmm.
    1700 Marksmanship ..... 7th great.
    1735 Brown Panther ..... 1st at last.

I think Banimpire is huge at 9/2 - there has been money all morning for the Godolphin filly but Banimpire has it in the book and will win this.

I think Rumh is quite a deserving favourite myself. Will love the ground being by Monsun, and her Newbury form couldn't be working out better. Added to that she hacked up last week, has plenty of pace and no concerns re stamina. I may back each way at 4s as several are unexposed.

Agreed OTB, my "biggest" bet of the week so far.

Backed Duncan also, very solid e/w value against Fame and Glory.

    Enjoy the racing folks

Chain Lightning in the Britannia. The draw looks ok now and he won a nice handicap at Sandown in April. The trip was 10f there but that stamina will come in handy today and he's won on soft. Good ew punt with 5 places paid.

I think Make My Heart Sing and Field Of Miracles are both worth a little tickle in the Ribblesdale on the grounds that they should be happy enough on the changed going.

    5.00 Ascot Auld Burns 28/1

Got word for this fella in last few minutes. It looks promising from a well connected source. Expected to run very well. Could be the one to get me going her on the forum! This one or Capaill Liath hopefully! My other bets have been poor.
