I only seem to be running myself into horses that run atriciously.

    Am I missing something?
I bet a horse@14/1 with B365 last night, and the same horse @ 15/2 with Hills at 10.00 am today; both paid out at 7/1?

I backed Riders onthe Storm each way for the Conti earlier in the week when 3 places were available. Booked to not get round or trail home last of 4 now. Not that confident if I'm honest but a case can be made for him on his form going rh on flat tracks from last year. I just can't help feeling Imperial Aura is largely hype. He's not beaten anything approaching proper Grade 1 class or been put under serious pressure yet.

Mcfabulous should be odds on for the Relkeel so am happy to take some 6/5 this morning.

No one got an answer for this little conundrum?

A quick, rather than considered, response.
Both bookies have made deductions for a reduced field. They then have given you their best price that was available taking the reductions into account.

Old friend Trans Express turns out over his favourite course and distance again. It’s a bit more competitive this time but the handicapper hasn’t been too harsh with just a 4lb rise for his win last time.
12/1 looks a reasonable each way price although the favourite will be hard to beat

In the event racing happens to be on tomorrow at Doncaster or Hereford, which I'm not sure about, having read the racing cancelled thread. This could be the last days horse racing for a while, so I had to put the form study in as I'm sure there's plenty of us who want to have a bet while the racing is on. Here's three horses I'm interested in.

    Doncaster

2.40 After looking at Lygon Rock's form in career thus far, he looks a frustrating horse, whose failed to win at short prices mainly over hurdles thus far. Over fences which he encounters tomorrow, he couldn't be any better handicapped to win a race, so I'll give Lygon Rock one last chance, (not that I've ever backed him before), to put his best foot forward with Richard Johnson a good man to have on board.

3.10 Runasimi River is a mare who has definately paid her connections back with a good win strike rate of 5/15 over hurdles thus far. She's won two races in a row on two different occasions. Those wins were on good, soft and heavy going. I always take note of relatively lowly graded handicappers who can win on different going conditions, as I think this is a good attribute. They often prove the type who can defy the handicapper when seemingly in the grip of the handicapper. At 12/1 or thereabouts why not back Runasimi River to win again here.

    Hereford 3.20

I haven't a lot of form to go on but I think trainer Olly Murphy has proved a shrewd enough trainer with his hurdler's, especially handicap hurdlers. This is Dubai Guest's first attempt in a handicap hurdle, but being trained by Olly Murphy makes me think there's every chance he'll run better in a handicap than he has in his novice hurdles. Who knows, maybe he's been readied for this race. The betting market might prove interesting.

    All three each way prices.

14.05 Donc Truckers Pass. Top notch NHF form and would have gone very close to beating the now 136 rated Do Your Job on his first go over hurdles if he'd not veered left after the last

Hobbs stable form tempers a little, so is scaled back from a 5* slam-dunk to 3* investment

All three on the drift, nearly 20/1 a piece. Market volatility at work again...

Good to see Olly Murphy trained the big priced winner of the 1.20 handicap hurdle at Hereford. This gives me hope Dubai Guest can out run the odds.

Well done, Marb. Good ew prices as well. Did you do them in an accumulator

One of my friends did an each way trixie with Skybet. So the 4th, 3rd and 2nd which they finished did him nicely.

That last horse Dubai Guest ran a cracker first time in a handicap hurdle, nearly winning after being impeded by fallers mid way through the race. He's gone straight in the tracker.
