With the dead 8 rnrs, can't resist an ew play on Lady Dancelot at the general 33/1 (Cleves Stakes - Lingfield, Saturday).
Tons of pace in the race, and there's more than a chance the 3 principals will cut each others throats, which will suit her sit and pounce style admirably.

Court House 2.55L has more track experience than most of these and is more likely to be suited by it than the 2 shorter in the market. Has been understudy to Wissahicken on numerous occasions, but runs today in preference to Global Giant (which Frankie was booked for), so his cllaims are clearly evident.
    Solid bet @ 9/2 best.

On ORs, Laurina is 7lbs better than anything else in her race today (San 2.25) PLUS she gets a 7lbs allowance. Why isn't she odds-on?

I'm not into short shots but 85/40 strikes me as ridiculous value.

I'll always forgive one bad run so I'm not concerned about her pulling up last time and I just wonder if she prefers going right-handed anyway. I can't resist that price.

Laurina looks the one but if anyone can get her beat it’s NdB. Took some 4/1 about Good Boy Bobby last. night which looks good value now

Sandown 3:00 Grand Morning looks on a really exploitable mark and strong in the betting. For an interesting owner/trainer combination of JP Mcmanus and Lucinda Russell.

    3d.
Not only did Kachy's withdrawal bugger up the pace, it also cost a useful place dividend by there being only 7 rnrs.

Don't think you can apportion any of the blame to the jockey there.

No she looked completely disinterested. Nice performance by the winner but GBB very disappointing and probably sulked when headed

I suspect they maybe went a bit fast for the conditions but I liked the way the first two pulled away.

How sad to see such a good animal as Laurina run so far below form.

This is one bet I hope I don't win but I've laid Celtic (2/11) away at Hamilton today.

Celtic have struggled in recent seasons on plastic pitches and Hamilton's is probably the dodgiest. They really seem to struggle to get their passing game going there and the home hammer-throwers will be booting everything in sight with the referee likely to be pretty lenient.

On the positive side, Celtic were terrific in spells against Killie recently and Lennon said it was because the home people had worked on improving the surface. Even Jozo Simunovic, who's usually rested on plastic due to a dodgy knee, got through the 90 minutes unscathed (at the time - he missed the next match on grass!)

If Celtic manage to play anywhere near their best it won't be a contest but Hamilton is the venue I dread most, not because of the opposition but because of the pitch.

    Phew.

That was as uncomfortable as I'd feared it might be.

I was actually trying to take a profit when Celtic equalised but even after that and the home side going down to 10 men they really struggled. The second goal just 12 mins from time was a huge psychological blow to Accies and they collapsed pretty much immediately.

Seven points clear now, with the best goal difference in Europe.

Silvestre De Sousa came back from Hong Kong yesterday and has just one booked ride this week;Fox Power 7.00W - for his retainer.
Have taken the hint, and the 7/1 with B365.
