Good money about for Golden Apollo in the sprint at York. Looks like a big market mover.

Want to take on Too Darn Hot in the Dewhurst. Has been pushed along at various stages in his previous outings, and today runs on the sharpest track and quickest ground he's encountered thus far.
Anthony Van Dyck should have too much speed for him, and the current 4/1 looks tasty.

    16:45 Chepstow - Dashing Oscar e/w

(Speculative selection for my Saturday punt, form disappointing this season but lightly-raced. Think he might improve a bit).

    Good luck today!

    4.45 Chepstow
Azzerti looks too big for this at 18/1 with Hills. This fella ran well at Cheltenham in April giving plenty of weight to the other placed horses. This race may be run to suit and he can outrun his odds

Fastman 20's into 8's in Yorks 2:40. That's a big move. This can't all be down to two non runners. I fancy Fastman to run a big race.

Well, yesterday's effort was awful, could not have been worse, but I'll have a modest punt today on these two, at Chepstow again. There's loads of rain there apparently, so the going will certainly be very soft or heavy, for sure. Win on each, and e/w double:

    16:00 Chepstow - Carole's Destrier
(Last season's efforts were dire, but did show a glimmer of hope for a revival last April at Sandown. Hopefully, will put in a decent run in this veterans' chase).

    17:40 Chepstow - Lisnagar Oscar
(Rules debut, but won his only P2P in Ireland easily in very testing conditions. Very well bred for NH racing).

It’s going to be a real slog at Chepstow today. Raining heavily now with not much sign of stopping until late afternoon according to BBC weather. Expect to see a fair few non-runners
Bishops Road may be worth a second look in the veterans chase at 14/1 while Ballyhill. could be decent value in the 5.10 at 5/1

Timiyan could be worth another chance in the Munster Nash as he’s surely better than he showed in the Kerry Nash when his race was effectively ended by a bad blunder at the first. At 16/1 I’ll take a chance

Para Mio a very well bred horse and the betting market is telling me this has a real chance today, (Yarmouth 4:30).

A few decent races on the.jumps tomorrow at Huntingdon. Looks to my naked eye that Sparky Stowaway is on a fair rating to take advantage of in the 3:45, based on what he has already shown in Ireland. It's his first start for new trainer Paul Webber. Market support would enhance his perceived chance, but in any event he will be carrying my sterling as he should be a few pounds higher up in the weights, imho.

Redcar 3:50 GRINTY- A course and distance winner last season off an 11lb higher mark, although this was in maiden company as opposed to a handicap. He has been gelded after a few poor performances this season. Bearing in mind, his win at Redcar last season was after a break. He has had another break, this time of two months. It's interesting his trainer brings him out so late this season, presumably to try to win. He is nicely weighted if he finds his best form. I will pay to find out at 8/1.

Evan Williams looks set for a good day at Ffos as today.
Pluralism of Ideas and the prosperity of any land are intertwined. Freedom of minds and skill of intellect to 'think the unthinkable' is how humanity has progressed; when minds are incarcerated nothing endures.
