Loads of pace in the 3.20 @ Windsor, and no surprise to the majority cut each others throat. Bettys Hope showed signs of a return to form latest, and I'd expect her to pick up the pieces.
Taken the generous 9/1 with B365.

6 non runners in the 5.20 at Windsor.

I took 5/1 on Severance last night.

I dread to think what the SP will be should he win.

Can't resist a small ew on Athollblairboy (2.00D). Ran 2nd in a similar c/d h'cap on same ground last backend and has run well fresh in the past.
PP's 33/1 (4 places) is just too big to ignore.

Rux Ruxx 2.20 will be perfectly suited by Musselburgh's sharp 7f on fast ground. The icing on the cake is SDS travels for the sole boooked ride.
Have taken the generally available 13/2.

    Hamilton 2.10

I will take a slight chance or calculated gamble on BURMESE BLAZER at odds of 8/1. He is the outsider of a small field today. Formerly trained by Ger Lyons in Ireland where he started his training career off, he ended last season with Jim Goldie where his overall profile was disappointing with him failing to land the odds too often.

He couldn't be any better handicapped as a result, imo. His best runs last season came first and second time out when 2nd and 4th on good ground at Musselburgh which bodes well.

He is having his first run for trainer Katie Scott which for obvious reasons usually means you give the horse the benefit of the doubt on what he's done previously. It's a fresh start. Some horses respond to it and others don't.

However, he is the type of horse who could feasibly win a couple of races on the bounce off such a derisory rating, and is entered up in two races at Ayr on Monday. The declarations will be made tomorrow.

As I say, it's not the hardest of races to land today so worth a punt of winning for his first start for new trainer. If he doesn't drift too much in price (therefore looking like a no hoper) I quite fancy him today.

Ground will be heavy at Hamilton. A ton of rain fell here overnight (five miles from the course) and still raining on and off this morning.

Cheers for that, DO. He has got pieces of form on heavy or soft. I haven't backed him yet but as he has drifted to 12's with five runners it will be an each way bet.

2.40 Haydock Oasis Prince 10/1 365 9/1 generally. Drops back in trip for the first time in a while and has gone back down to a mark of 88 which is a mark he won off at the beginning of last season over CD, he then went on to win a small event off a mark of 91 a couple of runs later. After that he was up to 96 and ran a couple of decent races over a mile but has since been campaigned at 10F for his last six starts. On his first start of the season at Haydock he was very keen, a slowly run affair didn't help but he went well enough for a long way too make me think there is more to come at a truly run mile and assured that he will stay a mile in soft ground I wouldn't be surprised to see a change in tactics and them make sure that its a true test. Got a decent draw if they want to pop him out and try to make all.

    Best of luck.

I am hoping Highland Chief can improve again from Royal Ascot in the big one. He is very much the unknown quantity still having arrived from a handicap at Royal Ascot.

At Naas (5.15) I give a good each way shout to the horse Paddy Tworney now trains in called Moll. This takes an interesting step up in class to listed level, having won on the all weather and then first time out for Tworney in a handicap at Leopardstown the last day. I am happy enough to back the horse as It's an open race. I reckon it could be a case of finding the horse who is most improving at the right time. Moll definately ticks this box.

Tinandali 3.00 ran well when 2nd in a decent Ayr h'cap, after an 8 month break and on his first start for David O'Meara. No experience of Epsom but looks the type to handle it, and should strip fitter for today.
    9/1 generally.
