Best of luck, it would be nice to see a Derby winner from the forum.

Jeez, it must be great as an owner of some very expensive and nice horses to only be told what they are doing, who they are working with and how well they are going by a stranger on a racing forum who is telling the world at the same time!

Kauto clearly didn't see the issue with it (and I don't either tbh). What's your point?

Unless there is additional correspondence that I am not privy to, it can't really be stated that Kauto didn't have an issue with it from what he has written. If I were Kauto I'd be extremely hacked off indeed.

Don't get me wrong i knew who the horse has been working with and knew what he had done. However i hadn't heard the Newmarket grapevine as i'm not based up there. Again like I said they haven't done much work so very hard to gage anything as yet.

Arenīt the owners always the last to know ??

Absolutely - in February they're not going to have done enough to gauge anything, good luck with him anyway. It must be slightly galling to read on a forum where you're going to be running your horses all the same!!! Still, you can't stop stable lads from gossiping and speculating, I guess!

Cat - if as an owner you're the last to know, I suggest you move yards!!

Without being familiar with Newmarket, the horse was working on public gallops, so therefore Flame is entitled to post his thoughts on how the horse is going.

Flame's exact words were with regards to plans "The word is that the horse is going for a mile maiden at the Craven meeting, perhaps you can confirm ?" How you twisted that to be 'telling' Kauto where to run the horse I haven't a clue. Not only is it petty - it's also inaccurate.

Anyway, I agree with the general view that anybody taking any heed of buzz horses in February wants their heads checked!

Who mentioned telling Kauto where to run the horse? Not me! Who's twisting words now?!

    Indeed - an honest mistake!

Nevertheless, I do think you're being a bit petty about the whole thing. Maybe it's a personal difference, but if someone asked to confirm plans they had heard mooted for my horse, I certainly wouldn't find it "galling."

Crikey - a real eye-filler, Kauto - there's a touch of the CHOISIR to his build. Beauuutiful colour, too. All the very best to him.

After you called him thick, I'll be surprised if he'll even line up!

Good luck with him Cantoris - like you hint at, it is a pretty weak race and he should be more than good enough for this.
