My, that's got to be a thrill for you all, RO. Hope your lads are having a wonderful time and doing well. I missed BALLYVESEY's run due to a neighbour coming to the door and wittering on, so I missed a fair bit of racing anyway, I'm sorry to say.
Grand, wasn't it, Martin? Really pleased for Chris and Alastair - the little horse looked covered in sand and came through a pretty big-size field to win very comfortably. And at 25-1!! Where are my brains these days? Not a penny on, while with POCKETWOOD cantering in t'other day, I know the yard's going through one of its 'up' periods!

Kimberlite King runs in the 3.35 at Down Royal today. tHe softer the better. We would have preferred to start him off over 2m4f to put less pressure on his jumping but this race is ideal for him, albeit a little short. Robbie Power rides as he has done some schooling with him. He will just try to get him jumping the first three and see where he is after that. He is a betting in running horse and if he's close enough at half way he should run well. We think he is well handicapped and the softer the better.
Good luck and safe run, KK!
Just Singin' the Blues ........
Only The Best starts his chasing career under Rules today at Hexham, if the track beats the inspection.

Know No Fear returns to Wolves tonight (6.40) with Fergus up. We have Piper's Piping to beat, but there is enough pace on for him and least he will get a ride tonight unlike last Wednesday.
Best of luck everyone !!!

Good luck all.Just heard Robbie Power on ATR's Get In talking up KK's chance over at Down Royal.I've had a nibble each way.
Believe 95% of what you see and 5% of what you hear - and thats very doubtful, that 5%!
Grassy - congrats on a safe and tidy round into 4th for ONLY THE BEST. Lovely-looking chap - love the way he holds his tail! Very nice start, full of promise for you.
Have to go out now so will miss the others, but hope for similarly good results.

A nice safe 4th for GH's horse followed by a gallant 2nd for KK. Maybe Know No Fear will get the win but well done guys.

Savage run Cantoris - 2nd over what would possibly be an inadequate trip - FYI involvement with six flat horses at the moment - Copper Dock 6yo Sprinter (half) Zhukhov 7 yo Sprinter , Bangalore Diamond 2 yo (half) Light the Wad 2 yo (quarter) Rattle The Latch 2 yo (quarter) Unnamed Arafa 2yo - so will keep you all informed.
Where to now - something like the Troytown maybe or is that too soon in his development??

Just saw OTB's race for the first time. Thought he jumped lovely on the first circuit, but got a little tardy in the last mile, which hopefully points to a bit of a fitness deficit today (he was expected to come on for the run).
Onwards and upwards.

No 2 miles is his trip. Hope the handicapper doesn't put him up much. Robbie would have preferred a lead to help with his jumping but that was a decent display and he will improve a bit for that and softer ground but 2 miles is his trip. We ran him over too far last year.
