Congratulations Roddy
Congratulations Roddy
Pluralism of Ideas and the prosperity of any land are intertwined. Freedom of minds and skill of intellect to 'think the unthinkable' is how humanity has progressed; when minds are incarcerated nothing endures.
Well done Roddy and Rolling Maul. What a brave performance.
Also good to see Jamie bounce back with a winner after he took a bit of stick yesterday at Ascot. Can't keep a good man down.
Congratulations Roddy.
As Dan says, what a gutsy horse!

Just wanted everyone to know that Bay of Freedom has been sold. You can read all about it in the latest (and, probably, final) blog: http://www.cheltenhamdream.com/blog-diary/. Thanks for your support over the last few months and please continue to follow him

Very good Paul. A nice amusing read!
In all seriousness, what are the plans. Will you go to Punchestown?
Thanks Mr. Leech for such an imaginative and chuckle-inducing piece, and a refreshing antidote to the goings-on on this thread a few pages back.

I look forward to seeing you at the races in one of your new tweedy suits. Make sure the great man doesn't give you any cast-offs.
Looks like Haydock for a couple on Saturday.Looking forward to the racing but dreading the traffic. Have to get one of my boys to drive
First of all, thanks for the messages and sorry if I caught anyone out. Yes, we're still planning on the Champion bumper at Punchestown. Realistically he will have his work cut out but he's matured for the experience at Cheltenham and we will ride him a bit differently. He's just ticking over right now and schooling over a few hurdles before we step up his work. He deserves to take his chance in what will be his final bumper.

...and when he wins at Punchestown the conversation with Richie Rich becomes strangely prescient......
"And still they gazed and still the wonder grew. That one small head could carry all he knew.
And that small head knew that Impaire Et Passe would win the Champion Hurdle."
