No. The reason we were happy to keep running in higher grade events was because his jumping has looked so assured, as it did again until he came down.

Thanks, Cantoris - glad KK's fine, and will enjoy seeing him on more suited going later on. DJ, so glad your darling horse is all right. He's such a bonny soul (I didn't see the fall) and the inaccuracy or whatever it was sounds out of synch with his usual style, so hopefully that was just a silly day, and he'll be doing you proud again soon.

Well just got back to my accommodation from the racecourse and can safely say that was an interesting day. Think the grey fella ran a blinder but still not convinced he was fully right today he looked light in the paddock and was off the bridle far too far from home and didn't travel at all well imo, for him to stick on like he did I'm very very proud. Think it will be the aintree hurdle next that should suit him down to the ground and then the world hurdle next year. Hope everyone took some of the outrageous 11/1 this morning. Binocular what a performance though. Looking forward to the fly being back next year for that race.
Zaynar ran a real good race Kauto. Well done.
Any chance that he would go chasing Kauto?
Some people say he’s the best since Arkle and that’s certainly true when you look at what he’s done
He was tough as anything today congrats Kauto.
Wait does Kauto own a share in Zaynar ?
Well done Kauto, ran a really nice race.
Hezz, I see Palazzone is the nap in the Irish News.
Oh dear.....
Didn't see that chroniclandlord. He should have a good chance if the rain holds off. If the rain comes it gets difficult. He's never been a mile and wants top of the ground so wouldn't be ideal in a competitive field.
Good Luck Hezz - hopefully he'll run a big race for you.
Like Good Time Sue in that with a decent young jockey on, goes well at The Curragh and seems feasibly weighted. Only negative for me is the low draw but will see what price she is in the morning before deciding whether to back her or not.

All the best of luck with PALAZZONE !
Just Singin' the Blues ........
Cheers folks. Hopefully The Zone handles the ground and gets the trip....and gets a slice of luck.
For what its worth IS, I'm not sure about the low draw thing being a negative. I remember glancing at the recent winners and i think about 5 of the last 6 came from 8 or lower.
good luck !!

Good luck Kevin. I thought you'd be off to Dubai again!!
Thanks Kevin - appears to be money for Good Time Sue this morning so here's hoping.

I'm totally confused. I've looked up the owner's name of PALAZZONE, and it's not Kevin! Who owns which horse, please?

Thanks, Cantoris - as the ad says, "every little helps" - especially for old bats like me!
Wowee - what a start to the Flat by the Stack team - a straight treble! That little ZORIJA ROSE - what a little star. Made all and even managed to put on a bit more speed for a decisive win. Fabulous! (Also helped by being a sunny, warm day here in Brighton, adding to the good feeling all round!)
Definitely fingers crossed for the Zone, then!

Well, that had to be rather disappointing. He looked pretty sweated-up beforehand (it looked warm and sunny at the track in fairness) and this is only the very start of the Flat, of course. He held a very nice pozzie midfield on the outside, but was quickly swarmed over and lost, came last, I think. Hope the little chap's all right and that nothing unpleasant was found wrong post-race.
