Can someone help me here?
I recently ordered over the internet and entered a code for a discount. The price of goods was displayed, including the discount and I paid by credit card. My delivery note though showed that the discount hadn't been taken off and the whole amount had been taken off my credit card. Can companies do this without my knowledge and permission? I would have thought that when I was entered my credit card details for a certain amount they shouldn't have the right to increase that amount. I have phoned my credit card company to ask if this should have been done but all they could tell me was that they didn't know. :what:
I've now had the difference refunded.

This often happens, I bought a mobile phone the other day using a discount code and on the same day they charged me the full amount and then refunded the discount.
Seems that's the way they do things.
