Christian Williams suffered fractures to BOTH arms yesterday - get the feeling there is a hoodoo on any jockey connected to Nicholls at the moment!

He's (Nicholls) had his fair share of fallers lately. A few at Wincanton the weekend Ruby was injured, with Harry Skelton breaking his collar bone. Yesterday, Tchico Polos, Gwanako and Pistolet Noir all came down.

Poor chap. Hope there's nothing too complicated and he's back soon.

Poor Noel Fehily! In full flight at the moment and having the chance to show the world just how good and (until recently) under-rated he has been.

    Rotten, rotten luck.

Hope it's not too complicated and he's back quickly enough to continue showing what he's made of before Ruby reappears.

Some people say he’s the best since Arkle and that’s certainly true when you look at what he’s done

I have been saying that for some time now but does he listen ?
I sincerely hope he gets to bow out on his terms ; witnessing Mr Brooks falling over Lester Piggott in 92 Breeders Cup took more out of me than Lester.

Look how miserable McCoy is on ITV racing. How do you retire with all those good horses to ride? Let someone else ride Footpad?

At his current rate of knots, the decision will be made for him rather than by him

Ah lads he is the greatest ever and still riding close to the peak of his powers unlike Geraghty who is a shadow of his former self.

Hopefully he can stay intact for this season which I agree will be his last.

    What's the story here?

His stats suggest he's doing absolutely fine.
