Some people say he’s the best since Arkle and that’s certainly true when you look at what he’s done

Must be a chance of really small field this year

i dunno. i say this because apart from kauto star and exotic dancer theres not a lot of other stars in the field so it might b that some owners mite keep in no hopers so that they mite b able to nick a bit of price money

I'm happy to keep the faith with My Way De Solzen at what should be a generous enough price.

Racing Demon is a crazy e/w price, I wasn't a fan last year and he still managed to fill 3rd behind the big two, but he looked like a different horse physically at Huntingdon, seemed to have filled out a lot and he will be a good few pounds better this season I think. Its hard to see him beating Kauto or ED but I think he was 20's the last time I looked and thats just too big.

Racing Demon is best priced 14/1.

Ah that looks a shade more realistic, with the presence of the big two as well as MWDS I imagine it'd be unjustifiable to cut him in too short, but if the race cuts up to 8 or 9 runners he'd be worth looking at if still in double figures.

RD's price might very well have contracted due to a Segal article in the Weekender last Wednesday headlined "This Forgotten Horse is a Knocking Each Way Bet to fill the frame at 20/1"
Don't be so gloomy. After all it's not that awful. Like the fella says, in Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love - they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock. So long Holly. _ Harry Limes

The way things are, it looks like barring mishaps there is realistically one place up for grabs, assuming at least 8 horses line up. Would you take 2.8/1 [3.8] a place on Racing Demon, for one place, knowing there are likely to be horses of the calibre of My Way De Solzen and Monet's Garden and other high class horses also in the field?!

If I had an each-way bet I'd go for Our Vic. Very difficult horse to predict but very talented when he puts his best foot forward and he seems to run well fresh. At the prices I think he'd be worth taking a chance on to chase home Kauto Star and Exotic Dancer.

6/1 Exotic Dancer is a knocking EW bet. I was watching a replay of the race last year and he did tremendously well to rally past Racing Demon after an almighty blunder 2 out.

I can see him and Kauto Star pulling clear in the straight.

Agreed. I believe KS is vulnerable at Kempton and ED is excellent value this year.

I think the 6/1 on Exotic Dancer is the each way bet of the year.

I'm with some others and Exotic Dancer is the each way bet here, with a serious shout of winning as well.

I agree with Garney and whoever he's agreeing with. Second at worst.
