    Cheers, Chris.

With the ground likely to be very testing I will be just watching with fingers crossed that there are no injuries to jockey or horse. It would be nice to have a weekend's racing without tragic headlines.

Talking of injured jockeys evidently Richard Johnson is due to be off for at least a couple of weeks.

Dickie broke three metatarsals at Uttoxeter on Thursday. He says he doesn't know how long he'll be out as he doesn't know anyone who's had such an injury (!!) but having broken three metatarsals myself I am pretty sure he'll be out for longer than two weeks!! They wanted to leave me in plaster for 6 weeks until my GP cut me out of the cast one day as the foot had got infected and he had to get to it. I was back riding out before they had healed (about 4/5 weeks I'm sure) but with a heavily bandaged foot, bandaged so heavily I couldn't get my riding boots on so rode out in hiking boots IIRC!

Hi Chris, i have just been reading your report on Future Stars of 2007/2008( very informative) thanks. Noticed that in the Barry Hills section you did not mention the horse Foolin Myself, he did well to win over 7f as a 2yo given his pedigree. Do you think he may become the stables Derby prospect? His owners deserve some success.
Foolin Myself by Montjeu out of a filly related to User Friendly, certainly has the pedigree to win a Derby.

for me he is far too keen to be considered a Derby prospect. yes he won that maiden well but whilst you may feel the owners deserve it, he wont be high up on my order
