Nice work by the BBC director, completely missing the fall because he wanted a close up of the others jumping the last.

Yes terrible luck for connections lost almost hundred grand at the last fence if you count Aintree!! But what about Paddy Brennan on REDEMPTION!!!!????? Timmy gets 3 weeks for not trying and he did exactly the same today

BBC cameraman didnt cover himself in glory at the end of the Afsoun/Hardy Eustace battle. Detroit will be missed.
I went swimming in the Caribbean. Animals were hiding behind rocks

Hadn't realised Paddy Merrigan had punched the rails afterwards as well as throwing his helmet in disgust yesterday.
Handsome compensation with a double so far today at Aintree.

What a weekend its been for Merrigan, one of the coolest, most extraordinary rides I've seen on Souffleur.

An amazing ride. Someone was obviously smiling down on him today, and good luck to him and to the Bowen family. Could have been easy to have been hard on Merrigan but sticking with him brought out the best in him today. Definitely a horse to watch out for if the handicapper isn't too harsh on him.

I couldn't help but feel so proud of Merrigan today. His face and hand gestures said it all as he passed the finishing line.

and refreshing to hear him say how he didnt think he had ridden it particularly well either, when he could have said 'thank you very much'
I could be the judge!

I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.
