Bar the Ballydoyle older brigade I am struggling to think of many top class older horses staying in training for next year. Any come to mind?

Darjina - although as we've discussed 'top class' might not be your description.

Like many of the very best ten-furlong horses, Powerscourt has that ability to quicken. He's a very tough and genuine horse and was a joy to train."—Aidan O'Brien

Is Honolulu still at Ballydoyle Gal? Thought I heard he was moving on after his run in Canada..

I would imagine Aqaleem will be back next year as well..

I think I read in the Racing Post on a piece about Cecil's revival that Light Shift had been retired but Passage of Time was to stay in training.

I haven't heard of stud plans for any of these so they might possibly race in 2008:

    Youmzain
    Dandy Man
    Red Rocks
Maraahel (think they were trying to find him a place at stud?)

Youmzain and Halicarnnassus stay in training.

Don't bank on Majestic Roi just yet, could be off to gainsborough stud
