I could be the judge!
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.
Didn't "n" stand for non-trier on the jockey txt speak?
Hurricane Fly - whatever he runs in he wins

What is the meaning of the n? :suspect:*Goobs, I've had enuff, r u goin donny sat cos I am packin in, u can have that £50 IOU btw 330 n-4*
Perhaps he's had enough of owing you £50, Goober
Oh sorry people ignore me, I've just realised I have two KD's in my phone, and the text was from Kirsten Dunst.

Reminds me of the time Kenny Dalglish said to me, " Have you got the time please?"
You should not confuse your career with your life.
so the n would stand for 'nickers off' then? (presuming kirsten is dyslexic)Originally posted by uncle goober@Nov 7 2007, 04:52 PM

Personally, every time I see a text from Kev Darley I just press delete. :shy: I might send him a quick text and wish him well given his latest news.
I wouldn't even bother replying myself, Kathy - his texts get tiresome after a while after all!
Moderation is a fatal thing. Nothing succeeds like excess.
False face must hide what the false heart doth know.
i used to go to school with him - his texts were sh*te then as well
I never met him, but Kevin Darley is responsible for perhaps my happiest racing moment, on 27th June 2005. He somehow got Fantasy Defender up to win, by short-head, having been last on the turn for home. Fantasy Defender was the first horse to record a win, that I owned, in partnership. Unfortunately it was an evening meeting and at Mussleburgh and it wasn't possible to get a flight back that evening and so couldn't go. I will never forget the feeling watching it come from nowhere and screaming down the Corals betting shop we were watching it in....
Thanks Kevin.
Kevin Darley is one of the good guys! I wish him every success in his retirement.
UG,As someone once said to me,youre phone is like the irish field directory.I wish youd realise that those jockeys are only ever after one thing...free photos of themselves so they can marvel at how great they are.Dont be fooled by claims of friendship!! :P
