    Thoughts...

Ebaziyan, Bobs Pride, Aimatov, Farmer Brown, Salford City....

I'd favour Bobs Pride strongly but it will be an interesting trial nonetheless. Proximity to Farmer Brown at the finish will be an interesting benchmark for all concerned.

Given his prep on the flat, it would be disappointing if Bobs Pride can't confirm Punchestown form with Farmer Brown. Of course, Ebaziyan is an enigma but BP seems the safest option.

I think Ebiziyan will win, unless of course he is not good enough.

And that small head knew that Impaire Et Passe would win the Champion Hurdle."

That really did make me laugh out loud!

Would love to see Ebaziyan win, his sire Daylami is still one of my fave raves ever, and as he's now in another part of the world we don't have of many of his to follow

BP given prep run, gets the nod for me
Some people say he’s the best since Arkle and that’s certainly true when you look at what he’s done

Winner did it well, to be fair

Wouldn't be too put off by Ebaziyan's run.....very disappointed with Bobs Pride but then should have taken note of Ruby's preference.

Hard to know how good the winner is - Meade said he ran him too quickly on more than one occasion last year.

Meade's general form is amazing at the moment.

By the way, didn't see the Murphy yoke win again earlier - Megans Joy - but the second is decent so to slam it by six lengths is impressive. Could be good?

Its all about Noel Meade's runners at the moment. I would not want tto be against his horses from here to Christmas.

I didnt know what to make of the race. I thought the front 4 all ran well enough. Bobs Pride supposed to need the run so I was happy enough with that. Meade horses are indeed flying!

It was a good finish - tho not for me as I backed Ebaziyan e/w when he went out to 8s just before the off :what:

Hard to know what effect lack of race fitness might have had - agree with Will, first four all ran well
Will Ebizayan need further this year? JUmped well, but lacked a burst of speed; clearly has stamina as he got up the hill at Cheltenham

A little bit muddling certainly but I wouldn't be over-enthused about the CH winner coming from that race. Meade seemed to indicate that he had better at home. Iktitaf the one to take from the race?
