My father referred to my sister as a "fat idiot" for years, right up until she killed herself (not necessarily related to being berated daily.)
My mother was referred to as "fat arse" or "fatty"....

Pretty much what I expected from you.
I grew up in a family where it was de rigour to call family members fat or similar, so i saw first hand the effect that it has on people. In my house now, body shaming is not tolerated, and if family...
It came across to me as body shaming (and completely irrelevant). The fact that it was a woman who said it makes it even worse in my book.
There should be no place in society for such comments imo.
What an offensive comment.
It's in the construction industry and there is so much hiring of folk that used to work with so and so. Gangs of men come and go as a unit. It is a form of nepotism but perhaps highlights why it's...
I'm all for a bit of nepotism. A new MD recently got appointed at my work who I'd worked with years ago. Apparently there was a meeting where he was singing my praises all over the shop - next thing...
Alice ******* plonker. "They literally blew the roof off when he won last year"
No they didn't, no explosives were in evidence. They made a large amount of noise.
******* halfwit.
I think ITV should have someone using an electric cattle prod on Adele every time she says "literally".
It literally does my head in.
Adele yesterday - "he's absolutely double the size of xyz who is 15 hands. He is 16 hands."
Think she needs to learn what absolutely and double mean.
OMG she's on about south Africa now, will she ever talk about Britain?!
It may have been the case that as they had an Australian guest she felt it was appropriate. But hey, if you guys just want to bitch about her don't let me stop you.
Leonna mayor is getting on my tits today.
"He's been gelded for the first time"
We have a separate thread for abusing Frankie!
I was listening to NWA the other night and heard the lyrics " bitch bitch bitch bitch, nigga nigga nigga nigga"
Just thought I'd share that.
That I can agree on - "the favourite looks great".
Yeah I can't listen to her. Tend to switch off mentally during that section if it's Adele. I find MN quite engaging but can take or leave FC
Pity about the tedious drone that is her voice.
I'd rather listen to the other two myself.
Slightly less grating than Hayley turner for my money. Get rid of the pair of them.
Interesting article in the sporting Life today from Ed Chamberlain about the new ITV contract.

There seems to be...
I'd say that adults should be mature enough to carry out work with a person they've broken up with.
I know that I've been able to do it in the past - work and personal life are two separate...
Does it really matter if they'd had a relationship? Didn't do anything to detract from Emma interviewing Jamie Spencer back in the day. As long as they are professional about it and not childish like...
Jockeys strolling down when it's past off time does my nut in. They know when they should be down at the start.
The thing that annoys me most about him recently was when he described racing fans dislike of the scotch egg recipe they showed as being 'hilarious'.
Just shows the level of contempt he has for...
Sean Connery?
