Graham Bradley with the pace stopwatch in his head.
I haven't checked Gault Stats but last year's RP trends (which Sizing John fitted) would say that it's a straight fight between Might Bite and Road To Respect.
Whichever one of SJ and OD that Robbie Power rejects has a big red cross by it.
For Grassy's blood pressure I'll preface this by saying that Might Bite might well have been capable of running to 169 at Kempton and he might end up being a 180 horse. However....
The KG has been...
Best of luck to you, Danny, but I can't accept a 3rd season chaser suddenly improving by over a stone. I tend to think it's the Kempton factor (where he has a good record) and Kempton is the...
Any rating based on heavy ground form is fatally flawed as far as the Festival is concerned.
I think we're agreeing, Tanlic, but as I said, I wouldn't put it past Might Bite to do 169 on the day. I just see Road To Respect's form as solid and on an upward curve.
Possibly. A decent man and trainer but I just don't have him down as being great at targeting specific races although that is obviously more difficult with Eddie O'Leary pulling your chain.
I'm very much warming to Road To Respect at 10/1 nrnb bog. Seems to be still improving, handles any going, 3rd top OR behind Might Bite (given 169 for beating 151 Double Shuffle) and Sizing John...
Bachasson was definitely thought of as a good ground horse when he was younger but, as he's strengthened with maturity he seems to be able to handle most conditions. The last 2 wins were on...
I suspect that's correct but they can't eradicate it until they identify it. There are several others that performed under par but he also had 4 winners yesterday.

Too early to tell at this stage I'd say but I doubt there'd be a shortage of useful substitutes.
There's a supplementary entry stage tomorrow but, as it stands, Yorkhill isn't entered whereas Min and UDS are.
Yorkhill was working with UDS and Douvan last month. He has had a two race prep for Cheltenham the last two years so I'd say there's no need to worry about him being without entries until mid-January.
So much simpler when anything over 30 lengths (?) was a 'distance'.
Might Bite 0/3 first time out.
Announcing it via a bookmaker makes me a little uneasy.
Seems like Nicky has announced via Unibet that Might Bite won't go to Haydock. Be interesting to know when Unibet knew and whether they took any bets on Might Bite.
"IT'S great to be back in...
Djakadam's season probably depends more on the fitness of Douvan and Min (and, maybe, American Tom and VVM).
Walsh was calling for the Gold Cup straight after the JLT.
Granger posted this on another thread:
I'd say the cute fcuker knows exactly where he is going
Mullins has yet to formulate a gameplan for Yorkhill, who features prominently in the betting...
Not sure if they were novices but, in the last 20 runnings, there was one winner aged 6, eight aged 7, six aged 8, two aged 9 and three aged 10 so it's a fair bet that there were other novices...
Would Arkle be the only Irish National winner since the war to go on to win a Gold Cup afterwards? Desert Orchid did it the other way round and Tied Cottage lost his very poor edition later. I'd tend...
