Is love him! I was hoping he'd beat Al Kazeem. Delighted. My own horse is called Cirrus which is why I started to have asoft spot for him but that soon became a real appreciation.
Love that...
Apparently Rolling Aces has collapsed and died on the walkway at Sandown. :(
So glad to see BK is ok, hopefully. Ruby having a fine go at Wyck hills rider!
I backed Many Clouds but thought it wasa sentimental bet....not bad at 33/1.
What are the antis going to talk...
It's not very scientific but Ma Fillule looked magnificent at the Open day.
But we aren't talking about strike rate, we are talking who WE would want to ride our horse. ;)
I have great respect for McCoy, but I wouldn't want him to ride one of my horses. He doesn't know how to give up sometimes and I'm too soft for that to happen to one of mine. He's not out of bounds...
Jumps, Carberry, Ruby
Flat, Fallon, Moore
Flat - Spenser
Jump -McCoy,
Area Fifty one lost today.
Wow indeed. Ruby lost for words!! Incredible jumping.
Can't bear Ricci. But do wonder what all the other bloodstock agents are doing!!
Nx
SS looked beautiful in the pre parade ring, though I haven't a comparison as I've not seen him in the flesh before. So etsy looked brilliant.
SDG definitely had plates on not plastic shoes. (And...
I was working in race planning during the Foot and mouth crisis. It was my job to plot the cases and phone the trainers to tell them they count send runners from their stables.
Losing Cheltenham...
As an ex betting shop worker I don't mind the banter, but some of it is really making me bored so lighten up please folks!
As for the gold Cup, other than Many Clouds, I'm struggling to be that...
Best of luck, I hope he stays good, stays sound and gives you so much fun.
So sad, I really thought he should have been pulled up tbh. Bad bit of riding IMO, horse wasn't going to be placed.
I like as well that all the comment on the RP site are positive. He's a brave boy, though he shouldn't have to be, maybe the world is slowly changing wrt mental illness. Let's hope his courage allows...
Actually it seems reports of his demise have been greatly exaggerated. Someone from the yard has posted a picture of him alive and well at lunchtime.
Now THATs good news!
I don't know who...
That's so sad, I know they were fighting for him. RIP one In Milan.
I hope that's the only fall of that nature I ever see, a full somersault.
It was lovely seeing him today, what a super horse. Imagine owning one like him :)
Bad news indeed. A big loss. RIP boy.
Lancetto broke a shoulder at ascot today. Puffin billy back in the stables hopefully ok.
Of course he didn't beat much and I worry that he'll not settle well enough in for a Cheltenham race. It was tantamount to a schooling session today but I didn't like the pulling. It still looks...
What a shame :(
My boy was ill for a year after his pair bond left and he's never really bonded with his current companion. At least Fininans has Bobs worth still, but no doubt they will suffer for his loss.
