Thought for a while that Sur Dancelot has a gp1 in him. His coffin-box draw in the Foret will test that theory to its utmost.
Shocker from Frankie too, who tried to make the aftermath all about himself, rather than the horse that carried him there. His nauseating thirst for self-publicity begins to exceed McRirick...
Possibly not up to the standard of last year's Arc, and it's unlikely any of these will trouble Enable. Bound to be plenty of pace though, with the Coolmore clan trying to set the race up for Kew...
She didn't have much to prove tbf. Only that she'd that she still had 4 legs, and could run a reasonable race after 11 month's absence. That she ran within 4lbs of her best RPR speaks volumes for her...
Great performance, given the circumstances, and JG had her only 80/85% fit. Roll on the Arc.
Frankie said he can't wait to ride her, which tells us all we need to know about the likelihood of...
RPR have Enable on 129 for Sunday's win, just 1lb below her King George best and 2lb below Treve's first win. Seems entirely reasonablo to me, as it wouldn't have been a strong Arc, but she beat them...
Enable goes into this much the same as Sea The Stars, as we don't know how good she is.
However, likewise; she's done everything asked of her, is head and shoulders clear of an ordinary bunch on...
So what's the score with Cracksman then? Is he:
A/ {As I suspect) simply not good enough?
B/ As his Trainer suggests. needs more time?
C/ Enable really is the outstanding filly Frankie...
But she'd still be good enough to rule Cracksman out? :)
Enable has a similar profile going into the race as the same stable's Taghrooda; who didn't make too bad a fist of the Arc.
Imo, Cracksman won't go as they know he wouldn't beat her.
