Douvan confirmed for QMCC with Ruby on board
Just retweeted to say not 100% yet
Great Field will not run in the QMCC I'm afraid Grass.
But that is straight from Mullins so...
Twitter reporting that Douvan's chances of making the Champion Chase now considerably better than 50-50 according to Mullins
Start of the season RR was quoted as saying where Douvan goes will depend on Min, which raised a few eyebrows. Min looked pretty good LTO so will go QMCC and therefore I wouldn't be surprised to see...
WPM in today’s RP
“He had a small setback early in the season but has been in pre-training and is due back to us next week. Our main aim is to make Cheltenham with him, but he could possibly make...
Be good to see Waiting Patiently run against UDS but if he doesn't (and probably even if he does) that has the makings of another odds on stroll in what was once a great handicap.
Simply Ned rightly awarded race
Good to soft ground and they get just the four runners, with the race being re-opened and the same happened with the Henry VIII. Bad day for Sandown.
Very disappointing turnout.
Sprinter had one after his Supreme and Might Bite had one before last season so heaven help the rest of the 2m brigade if helping him breathe easier improves Altior in a similar vein :ninja:

"He could stay at two miles, he could step up in trip. It depends what happens with Min, who has summered particularly well."
Just a strange thing to admit to, implying that Min has first preference.
but as we know, take it with a pinch of salt and all that. I don't remember hearing them saying they weren't happy with...
The most interesting thing to take from all the noise coming out of Ricci's mouth at the moment is that where Douvan ends up will depend largely on Min.
I'd have thought it the other way around.
I've nothing against him either really and FWIW I'm all for 2 milers gradually moving up in trip in the mould of Kauto Star. My point was that SJ would have gone up in trip regardless of Douvan.
...
He's owned by the Potts'. They'd surely have tried him at 3m at some point, and probably again and again every so often even if he didn't stay the first (few) time(s).
It's the fact that he does...
