Agree James the wsy he finishes his races. It's like he puts the afterburners on!
Has any horse done the Supreme/Arkle/Champion Chase in successive seasons?
Exactly what I said on course, he's done far too much.
Great by Altior on ground that was more against him than his other market rivals. Puts to bed the 'Min' got injured in the supreme...
Bring it on can't wait.
I get that feeling too James, I know Mullins used to do it with Quevega, but she was that superior to the other mares she could have given them a day's start!
The same Douvan that was out for the season before Xmas!
And Altior will hump him just like Min in the Supreme!
He's a very special horse.
He just puts the race to bed in 10 strides.
Wow Altior, chewed Politologue up and spat him out.
Not 100% true

Exactly
Surely not fast enough.
Something doesn't feel right here:-
Douvan, "apparently worked great" just two weeks ago before the Tingle Creek and now they "are not happy with" and he misses the season.
Think there is a lot...
Interesting regarding Min/Altior, on what basis? Thought Altior gubbed him fair and square when they met.
Whats the problem?
Douvan's trainer Willie Mullins said on Thursday: "Douvan worked very well at the Curragh on Tuesday. He cantered yesterday. He did another little bit early this morning and I wasn't entirely happy...
[QUOTE=Ardross;689968]The storm has been forecast for days - could have sent one over early surely ?
Exactly, once again Willie has tucked the punters up.
Quel Surprise!
I've backed Fox Norton for the Tingle Creek purely because I don't think Douvan will turn up.
If it's just a routine wind op like they say then I don't think there is anything to be worried about.
Bob's Worth had one after running in the Feltham , then ran in the Reynoldstown before winning...
