You are correct -I ducked out of school down to the local bookies to watch the race -after Wayward Lad won I had to sprint back to do an important exam.
No -after the Dawn Run Gold Cup -she fell at the first at Aintree and Wayward Lad was run off his feet by 40/1 shot Beau Ranger.Wayward Lad won the race in 1988 but he missed the Gold Cup that year.
Agree 100%.
Native River place lay.
I expect Might Bite to blow the field apart at some stage and trade odds on in running.Native River will surely pay the price if he tries to lead MB.I think American and Total Recall will be ridden...

Could be a big day for Nicholls tomorrow.
I think 7/2 with a run is massive -I would make him 6/4.
It was interesting to hear Derek O' Connor say the horse ran himself to exhaustion in last years 4 miler.Joseph is some talent.
Agree.

Could you see Disko winning that race today.
Cant understand why anyone would think that-plain wrong.
I'm surprised at that -if Willie takes him on with Yorkhill that will be a real statement of intent.
I presumed Meade would give him a Ryanair campaign -stepping up to 3 miles today was a real statement of intent.Meade spoke very highly of him in the post race interviews but hinted that The Maze...
This is a good horse-I expect him to win a Grade 1 this season.
