  1. For the 10,000,001st time

Over the years I must have told myself 10 million times to stick to the game plan. For me, that boils down to: Do the work, be selective, donít divert from my conclusions, but donít back drifters or add to them when already on.

So to today. Quite a lot of racing and an equal amount of work distilling around fourteen possibles down to three. The plan was 3 small doubles and 3 singles taken separately:

Peking Rose 11/8 and added @ evens
Saint Palais 7/2 and added ...
  2. Boxing Day Patent

    Market Rasen 2.15

The Lincolnshire National has a relatively small field where Sidi Ismeal might be popular to score again on only his second start over fences, although he is stepping up in class and three furlongs in trip, with a nine pound higher mark in the handicap too.

1:15 Magistrato won this with any amount in hand and itíll be interesting to watch developments.

1:50 Last term Allmankind came third in a pipe opener hurdle run before taking a chase a couple of weeks later. Looks like the same pattern being played out this time round.

2:25 It was a good run by the winner Chirico Vallis at 16/1 although he had been 40s earlier so not entirely unexpected. Although the rest were miles behind he couldnít shake off Kittyís Light who snapped ...
  5. Jumps, Jumps, Jumps - Chepstow part one.

Oh, itís good to have jumping back - sorry Reet - with Chepstow. Already been some decent horses on show and some promising runs.

1:00 Knappers Hill. Paul Nicholls likes to start off one of his good ones here and Knappers Hill didnít disappoint, although he didnít win by as much as youíd expect from a 2/13 shot. Had plenty in hand though. Nicholls thinks he needs experience and says heís off to Wincanton 6 November next.
