Bits and Pieces

Had a truly rotten Saturday. Truckload of trackers came up and you can’t back them all. Just as well really because all but one finished down the field and didn’t raise even a hint of better. The one exception was Zaamit, but he was odds-on. I’d thought about a little at 11/10 early price the night before, but I wasn’t about to bet at odds-on. He won, but even that was a heart in the mouth job. He still ran green and will be better next time. For the rest there wasn’t even a decent run to get for my money. Aylesford eased the pain a bit on Sunday.

Reviewing all the week-end action there was very little that inspired, although I thought Desert Dreamer was worth the Noted in Running thread - certainly be interested in her next time.
