Well Bred

Just trying out the facility.

Couple of nicely bred youngsters running today.

Kempton 7.15 HANA LINA a 2-y-o filly by Oasis Dream - Queen's Logic (Grand Lodge)

Having her second run after a rather disastrous debut at Newmarket, unseating rider on way to start and then slowly away and beaten six lengths in sixth place.

She is a half-sister to Lady Of The Desert, winner of the Diadem as a 3-y-o and her mother was unbeaten on the racecourse, winning the Cheveley Park and the Fred Darling.

Lingfield 2.00 PETERHOF 2-y-o colt by Dansili - Spinning Queen(Spinning World)

Making his debut here, this Derby entry is a half-brother to Trade Commissioner (RPR 109) and Galipot (106). Not a great deal of support in the market and will probably need further than this 7f. to show his best.

  1. Thursday Oct 16th.

Looking back at yesterday's racing - HANA LINA still showed signs of greenness, got away OK this time but ran too freely in front, was competitive until weakening rapidly inside the final two furlongs.

PETERHOF made a winning debut, tall and with some scope was rather sweaty, looked to be outpaced early on but given a patient ride by Moore showed a nice turn of foot to win cosily. Should improve for this and a longer trip.

Can't find anything of interest today.
