    Willie, Gordon, or Nicky?

Which of the three do we think will have the most winners at the Festival? The money will be for Mullins and Elliott I'd imagine, but I think Henderson may well eclipse the pair of them. He'll probably have the smallest team of the three but I can see him having at least four winners, and perhaps even a fifth or sixth. What are you thinking guys?

Also looking at the three of them, how many of the 28 winners do you see coming from the three stables? As far as the non-handicaps are concerned it's not out of the question that they'll wrap them all up between them, and you'd be sure that Elliott and Henderson will do okay in the handicaps.

We've been used to Willie and Ruby taking the Festival by storm, but I suspect we are going to see something very three-sided this year.

Below I’ve divided what I think are their horses most certain to go in at the festival. Granted we’ve not seen Altior yet but he will either go to the Game Spirit for a prep or rock up fresh. Henderson has good form at readying them for March without a run.

    Mullins; Footpad, UDS,

Henderson; Buveur D’Air, Altior, Apples Shakira, Mite Bite

Elliott; Apples Jade, Samcro, Cracking Smart

That makes it Henderson 4, Elliott 3 and Mullins 2 winners. The handicaps are where it gets interesting. I’d expect them all to have one or two winners each there also.

So you’re right Maruco, it doesn’t look likely that it’ll be a one sided affair this year. At the prices Henderson at 5/2 as outsider of the 3 looks a cracking bet to me.

I'd be surprised if you can't find a better 5/2 shot than Hendo, during the Festival, tbh.

True that. Novelty market bets are better eclipsed by other bets during the week.
Some people say he’s the best since Arkle and that’s certainly true when you look at what he’s done

Why? 5/2 about Henderson looks like really good value when the winner is certainly going to come from those three. In terms of quality in depth I'd have Henderson as favourite not a 5/2 shot in what is clearly a three horse race.

Think Nico was 25/1 for tp jockey other week with Hills. I know he's been cut now but 25s was very generous with some of the rides he'll have.

I'll certainly be taking Walsh on in that market come the week of the festival.

I looked at this market a few weeks back Henderson was 8/1 with the only firm who had the market open at the time William Hills which Is a firm for some reason who keep locking my account due to security issues (unfathomable). I knew at the time it was a great bet and planned to make a trip to a Hills shop on the Monday. Unfortunately he had a good weekend and Hills cut him to 9/2. So I left it.

Aside from the hotpots he has lined up which Kauto has suggested as 4 possible winners he'll also hold an incredibly strong hand in handicap hurdles he also has Top Notch in the Ryan Air who could go close amongst various other half decent chances.

I think he'll be Top Trainer at the festival but I don't think 5/2 is value at all really. I'd rather pick out his horses that have a good chance and back those in their respective markets on the day. As a lot can change between now and then to make that 5/2 look rather skinny.

I haven't seen the market but I'd wonder what price Daryl Jacob is considering he's riding the Munir horses.

Skybet have the 3 of them to train 13 or more winners between them at 10/1. They currently have 14 of the A/P favourites.
The older I get the better I was.

Me too. Was tempted with the 25/1 about 16 or more winners given they had 15 last year but thought that was getting greedy

    Yes, I've gone in too.

    The 13+ @ 10/1 is a crazy price.

Elliott was only starting to break into the big league in 2015 & 2016 and yet the three combined still had 11 and 12 winners, with Nicky not doing too well in 2015 either. The decline in quality at Ditcheat and Elliot's emergence saw it rise to 15 last year.

The 10/1 should be around evens and the 25/1 for 16+ no more than 5/1.

Yep 7/1 and 18/1 and I'm probably on the way to account closure if they pull it off...

    Now down to 9/2!

I'm toying with Nicky and Willie to train the CH/QM/Stayers/GC winners between them at 14/1.
