Four players have failed to nominate a meeting by midnight Thursday, so as per rules of competition their nominated meeting is decided by admin and they are as follows

Euronymous v Our Rita at Wincanton (Reserve Chepstow)

Len Madeiros v tiggers1972 at Chepstow (Reserve Cork)

Maxbet v Double J at Cork (Reserve Sandown)

2017diary v zongalero at Sandown (Reserve Wincanton)

    Full draw with nominated meetings

I am so sorry, DG and Tiggers, and I really should have been paying attention. However, I will post up my selections in plenty of time for tomorrow.

I apologies for not posting, really couldn't make my mind up. Liked Chepstow but with half the fences already omitted, I thought it would be a waste of time studying that meet, when another substantial downpour would probably bring about an abandonment. Sandown isn't far behind in terms of waterlogged conditions. I'm disappointed that I've been given Cork, as I won't be spending much study time on that meet, but only got myself to blame.

Not one person selected Cork, It didn't even make Archie's reserve and it was him that told you the meeting existed; but it makes sense to you.

So I don't forget and I don't need a reserve either; I'll do my entries now.

Let's hope it's not a favourite day down in Cork. Good luck.

I'm personally quite happy to do Cork. It's just a bit of a fun competition that DG is kindly running for the forum.

For the interests of the game I'm happy to back all the favourites as well and replay the tie on Sunday?

However if DG isn't up for that or okay with it in happy to post actual selections.

    Sandown

    Glorvina
    Poppy Kay
    Lord Ballim
Rock on Rocky N/R so pick is Speredek
    Western Ryder
    No Duffer
    Call me Lord

GL Zongalero, here's to you occupying the same place as in '79

NB Each competitor chooses one selection per race (plus reserves if you wish) from the first six races. (Any further selections will be ignored and will not be deemed part of the tie, this is to ensure parity with potential opponents who may only have six races at their nominated meeting )
