They last watered before the October meeting to get the word 'firm' out of the going description. I don't remember any complaints at the time.

Hughes might like to reflect that Cloudy Dream was only in the race because of the stable's dodgy administration.
The older I get the better I was.

Cloudy Dream probably isn't a genuine 2-miler (plenty of 2m5f horses have run into the Arkle places), but I'm not convinced he puts it all in either. I reckon he might end up with a squiggle by the end of the season.

Great Field has met with a setback - possibly back by spring but not good news anyway
Some people say he’s the best since Arkle and that’s certainly true when you look at what he’s done

Douvan going for the Tingle Creek the SL reports - any suggestion that this is related to Altior's wind op are surely wide of the mark

Hopefully see Min in the Durkan then........or possibly the Hilly Way.......though if Douvan is back, every chance they try and turn Min into a Ryanair horse, and the Durkan would be a good place to start finding out.

I heard it in an interview or podcast that the water levels at Chelt has gotten ridiculously high this year(due to excessive watering) and that even a couple of inches of rain floods the course. The going was reported by all jockeys as very sticky/tacky which happened with a low amount of rain because the ground was already soaked.. I can't pinpoint from where I've heard this info though.
