Dazzling performance she won very easily and was pulling Frankie's arms out all the way . A brilliant filly and one of the very best horses I have seen .

as the Timeform man said on ATR ; half the horses ' form wains in the fall of the season, but not those trained by J Gosden.
Some trainer; some filly; some Frankie !
Prince Abdulla , with a relatively small team of horses built up over less than 40 years has given us Dancing Brave,Danehill, Rail Link, Workforce and now Enable not to mention Zafonic and all the others.
Spare a thought for James Delahooke who bought the early ones that set this up.

Irrelevant. He merited a place in the race.

Nothing could be more relevant than knowing you cannot beat your stablemate .

She still had to run her race.

So they get another top one in the yard next season. You don't run him again (if he's fit and healthy).

Sorry mate but you are overrating him big time IMO ..Beaten by Capri who needs 2 miles and went off at 40/1 finishing out with the washing

The two horses he beat later are extremely ordinary and wouldn't get a job as lead ponies for the Arc.

Capri needs 2 miles yet won an Irish Derby (Cracksman ran a great race considering...) and a Leger.
No surprise with Capri today given the hard race he had.

As for the 2nd bit. Utter drivel.

Agreed. The last 3 races lost a lot of appeal for me especially as not shown on ITV. Disappointed the schedule included the Arab race but that was pretty much inevitable given where it was on the card

Capri is a second rate classic winner and the Irish Derby and St Leger are 3nd rate classics

It's as obvious as the nose on your face Gosden never ran the horse because he would be over facing him...the 2nd prize is worth more than the Champion Stakes and you don't walk away from that if you think you have a chance.

As for the Drivel...Avilius was stuffed in a Group 2 since and Venice Beach trailed in 26 lengths behind Capri who in turn has finished 12 lengths behind Enable. Hardy world beaters and the form just doesn't stack up to Arc standards

Really? She's top class yeah but the best horse she's beaten doesn't really stay 12f in top company. I'd have her on 129/30.

She didn't even have the performance, merit wise, of the day.

It takes a great horse to win five Group 1 races over 1m 4f in a row like that . She is the first three year old to win the KG and ADT in the same season since Lammtarra who only ran three times . No horse had ever won the two Oaks and the KG , let alone the Arc and Ulysses stays perfectly well he just isn't as good as her ( Highland Reel also clearly stays 1m 4f ) .

Also notable is that the weight for age scale appears vindicated by this result Enable beat Ulysses the same distance as at Ascot but he was conceding her 4lb less.

She has also won these races by a total of 23 lengths or so .

I think we operate to slightly different scales, Euronymous, but 129/130 is up there with Dahlia etc. It's the equivalent of 133/134 among the males, which only happens once every five or six years [on my scale], much less often with females.

Mine is similar to Timeform's. 133/4 for males is fairly common for males.

Beating Ulysees that well twice is laudable but he's obviously a fair bit better at 10f. Which 12f G1 winners did she beat yesterday:

The Jap and German horses. mmmmm
    7th Heaven - GATG
Capri - Felt the effects of the Leger
Silverwave and Zarak. Poor for the grade.

Like I said, she is top class, but I would have her behind Treve and Zarkava by a fair margin.

good performance , impressive camapaign, top trainer keeping her in top form whole season

    she goes to 122 yesterday
great campaign, but on the racecourse the form is quite behind Treve, Zarkava or Danedream

it was a good winner in a bad edition
