Some people say he’s the best since Arkle and that’s certainly true when you look at what he’s done
Honestly not sure.
Relkeel is the only race at HQ but is 20f, ground would probably rule-out Haydock’s CH trial, and I suspect the Contenders at Sandown is probably fav, as Hobbs has run his CH horses there before.

Lashings of time for that.

2nd fav in betting for Xmas hurdle. Jp no stranger to letting his take on each other in that either. Tent & Yanworth an example last year.

Tent surely can be placed again especially if one of the big two pull out .
I am not convinced by the idea Melon will be better than MTOY if they go a better pace - all MTOY best form is in the Champion off a proper gallop.
Faugheen going for a walk on exchanges last night & this morning.
It’s no massive amounts or anything but still a drift is a drift. BD gone to 6/4 in places with Faugheen out to 5/2.

The 5/2 is a firm that no-one's heard of. Betbright and Paddy are rock solid at 13/8 and the only 'major' firm that has BDA shorter than Faugheen is Stan James.
The older I get the better I was.
BF Exchange are 9/4 Faugheen - and continuing to drift) and 7/4 Buveur D'Air........that's a significant enough switcheroonie, you'd think (though not much being offered either way, to be fair).

Why anyone would want to back Faugheen at shorter than 2/1 with ante post terms to start with is beyond me.

I want to see this clash happen in March. I really hope he's ok.
To lose Altior vs Douvan and Buveur D'air vs Faugheen in the space of 48 hours would be a huge blow to the meeting even this far out.
Alcohol, because no good story ever started with "I was eating this salad..."
I do not think it would be a huge blow to the meeting - Cheltenham is bigger than one or two horses - it is not like the Gold Cup in 1967 .
It would be a great shame though .

Ryanair Hurdle forfeits and supplementary entries tomorrow. Should nail it one way or the other.

Last week when Melon was confirmed for the International I thought thats Willie getting a sighter for March. I believe they expected Melon to do the business and were some what disappointed. Is there a possibility than Melon has been working well with Faugheen and they now realise they have some serious competition in BD who is way ahead of any English hurdlers and it is just the market readjusting rather than anything more sinister.
