    Royal Ascot - Day 4

Biggest day of the week for me.

I was at Haydock when Harry Angel won the Sandy Lane (as I was when Quiet Reflection did the same en route to winning the C Cup

last year) and I am all over this horse. I have backed him at 9/2, 7/2, have free bets on him and he's the second part of a double with

Le Brivido from the Jersey (11/2 and 10/3). My initial plan was to load up even more and lay a portion off at 6/4 and 7/4 - however

although he should lead the fact that two of my other fancies who should have been pace leaders (Dream Castle and Signs of Blessing) didn't

has me a bit hesitant about this. Still by far my biggest bet of the week though.

My other bet is Mainstream in the last. He went into the tracker when he was behind Frontiersman at Newmarket and initially I hoped

Stoutey would go for the John Smith's as there's a longer straight for Moore to sort him out with, but at 7s and 13/2 I'm happy enough.

Got a decent AP on Harry Angel but big concern that the CoC has scuppered that by over-watering

As long as it doesn't rain and they don't water again the ground should be fine.

It'll make as much difference to the ground as it has the previous 2 days.

Had a little ew on Bound For Nowhere in the sprint as he went well with Lady Aurelia in his prep, and on the premise she'd be much shorter than his double figure odds for this.

Main bet today is Clemmie e/w @ 8/1 and 7/1 with Bet365 1/4 odds 1-4 places with a smaller bet on Ertiyaad at 16/1. The fav will be hard to beat but at these place terms it's insane not bet e/w against her.

Harry Angel ew at 100/30 with bet365 going 1/4 the odds is a decent bet. Trainer stated not worried about rain so watering shouldn't matter. I fancy him to win but with the advantageous place terms I've had an each way single, and expect he'll go in my multis.

Each way Ertiyaad is good value, I think the favourite is worth taking on. Going to have a bet on the Ward horse too just in case.

Stradivarius is a real fancy for me today.

Cape Cova dropped in distance is a decent bet as ran well last time out before fading. Also like Bottom weight in the last for Ed Dunlop.

I topped up 30 each way on Danzeno in tomorrows Wokingham with Ladbrokes last night at their standout price of 33/1.

I see your keen on this. I've already committed to Desert Skyline, but may the best man win.

JH fanboy reporting in. Am balls deep on Alpha in 2.30. Didn't appreciate the draw but can't find anything I would back against her. Have gone in again today BOG . Biggest worry is my money seems to be a heavy burden at Ascot this week.
Have a decent AP bet on 1000 Gns next year.

I hope you're right suny, he's my biggest bet since Sprinter Sacre in the Arkle.

Surprised people are so hot on Alpha Centauri. Her form is around Actess who is 4th choice for Ballydoyle today, she's hardly bombproof. She might well win but there are a few other Group 1 class fillies in this race and with 1/4 odds 4 places it's mad not to take her on.

O Brien's 'outsider' Snowflakes is the best backed horse.

I want Natural to win though.
