Was a dirty looking fall. Wonder if it stops Henry sending him over
Some people say he’s the best since Arkle and that’s certainly true when you look at what he’s done

LUKE has always maintained Henry will avoid the festival with him.

It's a garbage RSA and he was second at the festival last year. It would be criminal not to run him.

And for the record 15/8 Footpad for the Arkle is the single best piece of value left in the ante post markets.

Unless PM shows up after looking good at Leop festival, he will prob go off very near evens.

I've loaded up on Monalee for the RSA at 6s with Hills. If he misses the Festival it's a void bet so it's semi NRNB

Demi Sang was entered up in the Limerick xmas race that Album Photo fell in but was withdrawn at declaration stage . I felt if he was good enough to be given a graded entry straight away he must be useful so when I went to back him this morning I was pleasantly surprised to see a drift from evens to 2/1 and had a good bet.

I thought his goose was cooked in the home straight after a few slow jumps but he certainly has an engine.

Altior 11/8. Priced like he's had an injury, not a wind op.

Retarded reply -I have consistently said since the 19th of November that he won't run in the RSA-I don't feel the need to lay a horse running in 10 weeks time at 9/1.
If you want to have an even grand on the horse running in the RSA get back to me in the next 24 hours and we can arrange it.

I'm not the one dishing out absolutes. If you're so sure he won't run what's the difference in laying that at 9/1 or evens?

I take it you aren't intererested in the even grand.

No, partly because I'm obviously not such a massive player as you are (congratulations on that by the way) and partly because I'm not taking a stance either way.

You however are passing up a huge opportunity to lay a horse at what must be colossal sums of money which you are sure won't run . I do hope you're also in possession of the knowledge of when HdB will drop this bombshell or else that gem of information will count for zilch.

This is the comment made by HdB after Monalee's chase debut. I believe this is what a lot of folk have been referring to when suggesting Monalee may not even go to Cheltenham.

On the possibility of targeting the RSA Chase at Cheltenham, he (HdB) said:

“It's a race that I've always been a little bit wary of. I've had the odd runner in it but not a fancied one.

“That's all a long way away and we'll just try and get to Leopardstown at Christmas, that's a massive one for us."

You weren't around when I was telling everyone on here that Henry's father had ten times his max on Sizing Europe for Arkle.

Again, if you've got the inside track on stable decisions I don't understand your reluctance to lay him. It's probably because the decision is not quite as 100% as your first post implied. The rest of us are working on the quote DH has just posted, which to me doesn't commit either way.
